Entire Character Creation System looks rushed and generally unpolished
Character Creation :
1. No Black Hair.
2. COLOSSAL lack of clothing. (Are we going to have to pay real money to look good? Nice little earner CCP.) Do you want this shirt or.... this shirt?
3. Character Creator seems to be a body sculpting utility and little else. Alteration of all body parts is fluid and flawless. Only problem is we HAVE to dress them, thus we HAVE to look awful.
4. The guy I am trying to edit WILL NOT HOLD STILL.
Reccomended : DO NOT UPDATE YOUR CHARACTER - Wait until they fix it (Being released in another two years?)
CCP : Making ingame avatars more important in gameplay whilst also utterly limiting player choice in variation and style.
All of those issues were brought up while it was on SISI time and time again and there was nothing done. I think after a point they must of just said "this is it" and stopped taking feedback. I was holding out hope that SISI was just a test version and we would be blown away by the release on TQ but that didn't happen. I'm interested to see how this goes over the next few weeks and if CCP are willing to listen to the more constructive issues and complaints and work on them or if they just ignore it and continue on.
I'm glad to see I am not the only one massively ****ed off by the update though.

The more I look into this the more and more of a joke the Deteis options seem to be...
They have no black hair, they are the ONLY bloodline not to have it and it was only removed in the last couple of version on SISI. Why? When did you choose to remove it and for what reasons? how did it help make players happy or improve the game for anyone? (instead you now have those players who had it pre-patch like myself ****ed off and *****ing everywhere)
For their "TOPOUTER" they have two options while Amarr have the exact same clothing but with five colours. How hard would it be to give the same clothes to the Deteis if they already had them.

Which is all well and good, but I think the definition of the various bloodlines has come to a head with this release. CCP has made design decisions surrounding the racial physiology of these bloodlines in the same vein as J.R.R Tolkien. Who decided that the Rohan were fair haired and the men of Gondor were dark haired ...
Tolkien didn't change his mind halfway through the book series though :P
Peoples complaints are not with the fact CCP has distinct features about the bloodlines it's that they have changed them now after we chose our characters. Instead of following what was already the basis of the characters and just making new versions of them they went and changed things and surprise upset a whole bunch of people.

For those asking for cloth remember that for the moment you are only taking a snapshot of you characters head/face. The need for awesome looking clothes is not yet needed as CCP can add those in later and let you get changed once Incarna hits.
What the Character creator does need is a massive look at the avatar faces and head options. Currently I am sat in empire looking at local and with every image generated I am able to tell the difference in only a few bloodlines. CCP seem like they wanted to hold onto the unique aspect of their bloodlines but didn't focus on developing the things that made them unique.
The Brutors sunglasses have now been unlocked for everyone and this is the only accessory that seems to be implemented at this time. There were some major changes to the basics of the bloodlines which I'm still annoyed with and seem to have upset many others here.
EVE Online has one option at the moment to make it's players stand apart from one another that is our portraits, I would hope that CCP sees all the tears and complaints here and actually takes them on board instead of thinking this update was a massive success. It has potential but you needed to focus more on what was there with the bloodlines and less on what you could change for them. Locked hairstyles and clothes are not a bad thing! the problem was you changed who had what after we made our choices! Would you be happy if you brought a car because it was blue then a year later someone came and resprayed it orange? a strange way of putting it but it's kind of what happened here.
I was one of the few who sat and tested Carbon from it's first release on SISI it started well you were taking our feedback and making lots of great changes and additions most of the features in it now are things that people asked for during development. Myself and a few other Deteis players testing asked for one thing which was you add black hair back in (it was in until the final test version was released). Others told you that characters moving around and blinking was annoying while you make a character and we needed and on/off option for that.
I hope there are Devs reading this who want to make the haters love again, portraits may have no impact on the game but they are our one way to truly express ourselves in this game. now it seems to have been changed into something many are not happy with.
/me ends rant.

We are not trolling we are complaining! It's great that some people have what they want I'm glad it was a success for the most part. What me and the other negative feedback people want is options that were either in the earlier releases on sisi or were defining parts of our characters.
