Well, this was declared to be an exploit fairly recently, and VERY publicly. Which in accordance with CCP's own rules means no less than a permanent account ban for those involved. Now I'm not suggesting that the entire IT fleet be banned or something ludicrous like that, but at the very least the FC of that fleet and the individuals who actually dropped, anchored and on-lined the SBU's should be subject to the full punishment allowed. Anything less would be clear favoritism.

I think this is way worse than what happened before. TEST deployed some TCU's in unclaimed systems. IT deployed SBU's in an activly contested system that we had sov in.

I might be inclined to think so myself, but really this exploit was so obvious, and so obviously against the previously quoted rule that not dealing out some sort of punishment would completely undermine the integrity of CCP's GMs and Internal Affairs team. Also the fallout in terms of press from such blatant case of favoritism might very well be a serious problem thing for CCP from an economic standpoint.
Personally I have no doubt that CCP will stand up and do the right thing here and severely punish the people involved with such an obvious rule infraction such as this one.
