Last I checked the dev blog said the new neocom beta would be hitting TQ with the release today. Did I miss something and they decided not to release today? |

Edited by: Phenethylamine on 19/01/2011 01:06:21 I was really looking forward to this so I'm a little confused about it not being included and not being explained.
The dev blog entry:
Quote: The new NeoCom BETA will be hitting TQ as part of the main Incursions release, January 18th 2011, and SISI before Christmas.

Someone could have made a forum sticky or dev blog post letting people know this was changed. It's sort of bad form to commit to a set date like that and just forget about it when the date rolls around.

Someone said they changed that because there was some sort of exploit discovered that could give people that used it a big advantage over non beta users. So its removed until they flesh out more bugs on sisi apparently.

Be VERY happy it's not here.....yet
Totally designed to make life easier for pirates and ganksters, EVERY common action you like is now at the bottom of a variable length list. Everything will take longer, allowing more time for you to be locked. No menu will ever be sensible again, after all the devs always claim 'working as designed' and this time, that's really true. Gotta justify those last 6 months of 'programming' by rearranging menus that have worked fine for EIGHT YEARS.... -- CCP "no one uses rockets anyway" Not when you cannot fix it shortbus. |

I'd rather they test it thoroughly, than release it prematurely and have everyone hate it and call for a complete scrap. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

You do realize this was meant to be a beta test that you toggle from the main menu and have to opt-into, right?
The steps for someone who didn't want to participate to avoid using the new UI would be as follows:
