The news blurb you get on log-in says things like orbital bombardment will not be active. Dust and eve will be running on the same server however.
But will any interaction between the two games in any form be possible? The event horizon lounge? Chat channels? Market orders? Edit: Contracts? Contracts to fight for planets?

I hope they can do it quicker. After all, the move to TQ is just transplanting a working system of two games from one server to another. Whats going on on sisi is the joining of two games for the very first time.

CCP already said that when sisi comes back up there will be no orbital bombardment implemented. Its not clear if any features that provide for eve-dust interaction will be present. We may get nothing, maybe we will get chat and mail. Its not clear if we get anything else, except not orbital bombardment.
Once they see if they can actually have a PC game and a console game running on the same server, sharing the same data, then they update the clients to add features.

Will not happen. They get to be teleported to wherever there is a battle. And I doubt all of the game will ever be blue. The Amarr will always be after the Minmatar, and The Caldari after the Gallente. Even in Null there are the boarder areas where there is conflict.
In fact thats whats always bothered me about complaints of "blue balls". There is still an edge, a border across which is the enemy. If you do not like being in the middle of a bunch of blue, then what are you doing there? Go to the border, go to where the action is.

I figure they say " a few days" when they mean less than "a few weeks". In other words, "a few days" means more than 2 days and less than 14 days.

It patched for me successfully. Over 1000 dust players on now, but as per CCP Goliath, not accepting Eve connections.
Everyone "publish patch files" meant publish the files needed to patch the client. They are not patch notes.
