Erin Explodia	Posted - 2011.01.20 08:22:00 - [1] This 'expansion' was just a graphics update to character portraits. I can see why people are excited about them. They're cool but there's nothing adding to the game play here. Honestly... gameplay wise. What do we get super hard rats that shoot and people more randomly. Hrm, okay spent a day tweaking numbers. A new super carrier... ok took a break and went to the bathroom with a notepad. Is that all? That's exactly one days work and thats including a bathroom break. Seriosuly, could someone point to where anything good was added to the game? Or are you all still to busy playing barbie?

Then theirs the whole incursion interface and their mechanics. Like the way that only the certain fleets get awarded and how payout changes based on how many were in that fleet. Cant wait to see that CONCORD LP store :P edit: yes Sader Rykane reminded me of the redone shortcut system totally awesome and takes some getting used to but i love it -------------------------------------------------- The drake is a lie

mechtech SRS Industries SRS.	Posted - 2011.01.20 11:13:00 - [15] PI and incursions are both major content updates. A new super carrier involves an intensive art process as well. Sure, it may look like a turd, but that turd took a lot of time to put together ;) I've been playing since '05 and the 2 most recent expansions are middle of the road content wise. Remember Quantum Rise? Sure, we didn't exactly get another Apocrypha, but CCP's got a lot on their plate these days. Lastly, you're complaining about a free expansion, go take a hike.

Stick EVE gate up your arse, already have Facebook and while i am addicted to EVE i'm not so sad that i need crap like EVE gate. Incursions is going to be a hideous nightmare in an organised fleet when the boss drops the BPC though it does have potential for some PvP opportunities, i would have rather had the much talked about never seen T3 frigates, not some barely interesting PvE that will become not interesting very quick..

Also, EVE expansions are not WoW expansions. They're more like WoW content patches, and always have been. Very few expansions have been huge like other games, but thats why other games charge for them.

Twist logic however you want in a desperate attempt to make yourself feel that you are paying more for your expansion than other MMO's but the bottom line is that if you didn't pay for it, it is free. On top of this is the fact that Eve is also the only MMO I know of that allows you to pay for your subscription with its own ingame currency. Can it get freer than that? I am not a fanboi, but the self-centric negativity people can spew out just astounds me. Maybe just read slower, and read the words that are typed, and not the ones you've decided are there.
