May be good to take some precautionary measures for your company CCP. Eve's a cool game , you put a lot of effort into it, we'd all like it to weather the storm.
Don't fall into Normalcy Bias (a psychological condition where, despite Obvious signs to the contrary, people think all will be well and nothing will change eg. a lot of German Jews had this condition in the late 30's , some even up to the moment they were carted off in cattle trucks).
If you watch this and still be unconvinced, I WILL be impressed.

ironically since iceland already went bankrupt and came out alive, imho they are probably the only country on earth that is fully prepared for any further global economic problems.
of course having 'free' fish to eat and 'free' geothermal energy from living on a volcano goes a long way to help i would imagine, like having free minerals .

Why did building 7 collapse in the exact same fashion as the twin towers? There was no jet fuel to allow some questionable pancake collapse explaination. There are things which just don't add up, and some people prefer to gloss over them in favor of what they want to believe.

You do realize that anyone, especially engineers and architects, can do scale experiments or mock ups to see if the buildings would have collapsed "naturally" under the circumstances.
Have you actually read the "evidence" and reports on the site? Almost none of the reports are from engineers or experts. And the few that are (i.e. reports that people with credentials have put their name on) do not state that the buildings were brought down intentionally.

Sorry, some of it's wearing off on me. He exaggerates almost every claim he makes. I do believe that the US isn't going in a good direction, but this guy is off the deep end. I can't believe I wasted over an hour watching it. He claims he invested time and moeny into the video, I disagre. He read a script into a mic, and then pasted the words into slides. Could have taken me about 3 hours. My personal opinion of this is:

Now about the actual company, Stansberry. I have yet to see a single good refrence to them outside of their own website. They almost don't exist on the internet. There are a few questions about them on answers.com, the initial responses were "Not a reputable company". These were all responded too by the same copy-pasted rebuttal, which claims that Stansberry is great, has made me millions... etc. etc...
Pretty sure at this point that this company isn't what he says it is.
If he claimed that the current crisis would happen, all the way back in 2006, during 2008, why didn't we see him tooting his horn? He could have enlisted potentially millions of subscribers then.
Hey, look what I just found the SEC suing Stansberry for Fraud... hehe.
I'll say he's good at one thing: Selling fear. The whole point of this video isn't for helping you, the individual. He wants you to become a subscriber to his 'report'. He wants you to buy his product. Nothing more, nothing less. This guy doesn't give a flying **** about the average joe.

If China decides to call in all the US debt at the same time, that's an act of war. The US would be forced to either go to war or collapse on itself.
Two things:
A) The US's entire debt isn't to China. In fact, the VAST majority if the US's debt is owed to investors in the US itself. As of 2007, 25% of the US's debt was financed by foreign countries.
B) These are bonds; China (and investors) can't simply "call in" the debt. As China purchases bonds, the US doesn't have to honor those bonds until they mature. And China doesn't own all bonds that mature on the same date. So the US only has to pay off a "small" number of bonds at a time.

The problem with the US is that the politician don't know how to say no.
Its basically a mathematical problem they've known for years. The birthrate was never high enough to sustain Social Security and Medicare which are Ponzi schemes for more than a generation.
The problem is we have to say No, we have to remove or severely curtail all safety net programs and we have to stop our overly generous support of interests outside our states. I think Donald Trump said it well this past week, Why are we defending all these nations? Shouldn't we be charging them for defense.
If the US economy fails though it will take everyone with it. China is to dependent on exports to the US, as is most of Latin America and Southeast Asia. Many Africa countries are almost entirely supported by US donations/aid.
There is still time to stop it which will slow the global economy but make it long term viable and that is the US has to cut spending to meet its income, and that's about a 50% cut across the board. They have to go from deficit budgets to budget surpluses. I hear politicians that always point to the Clinton years and go we had a balanced budget then. No you didn't you manipulated the data and the debt increased those years just like it did the others. The US has not had a balanced budget or surplus in a century. It is time to say no more and to curtail spending.

You have a lot of holes in your side, that all need patching before you have a full argument.
And on your last link, if China 'owns' the US, the US must therefore be one of its largest investments. It is in China's best interest to keep the US functioning. Therefore, we shouldn't have anything to worry about for the next few decades, as China wouldn't do anything to endanger it's investment, right?(note, I don't actually believe this, but it's an example of the conclusions that can easily be drawn from crappy sources.)
All this thread has shown me so far is that global warming is caused by lizard people, as was 9/11. Lady Gaga was the mastermind. Also: this seems like an appropriate metaphor for this topic. Much like the rocket, you had some merit at the beginning, but now it's just coming back to hit you in the ass.

Besides the obvious point about China really wanting the US to stay afloat til Wally-world isn't breathing anymore and/or China can be more stable without American's consumerism of Chinese exports...
It'll be interesting to see what other countries do when they realize the big bad 'World Police Agency' blanket that was the US Military is gone.
I wonder how many non-americans will enjoy their taxes funding a military expansion in their respective countries and how they will feel either paying more in taxes, or having something cut off.. like Healthcare programs.
