This reminds of an Arab woman in Sweden suing her boss because of her random password reading "svarte-pul" ("black-pul").
It's just a word. How are we ever going to get past history if you people keep whining about it. Learn from your mistakes and move on to a more liberal society. Banning the freedom of speech is not how we stop the extremists.
Look at post #3, thats the one. There is nothing directly antisemitic in the OP itself, its his answer to the first reply.
Were you born in the 1800's ? its a term of endearment. I call my brother much worse than stupid all the time

Ah. The stars blinded it for me. Yeah. Although I prioritize the freedom of speech over offended, crying people, I'd not suspect OP to reach 300'000 SP. ___

Non Semite checking in.
I think it's weird that sov holders can't work their own doors but I'm glad they don't--I make a great income sneaking into other peoples backyards and ratting. The 'fear' of getting caught provides some much needed excitement to ones income making ventures.
So where I was inclined to agree with the OP on the idea, I quickly realized that the game needs more fun; and free range ratters/explorers are fun for everyone--me to do it, sov holders to catch me doing it.

Of course it does. It either is or it isn't, can't pick and chose.
But we don't have freedom of speech here, this is more like private property and has rules. So...

I am referring to their character name. I was also trolling them and never actually had any intention of petitioning their character name. I didn't actually take offense at it although I am Jewish and if I was anal retentive like some of my relatives, could/would have.
I would like to know however, how the Holocaust was 'our mistake' and how I am to learn from it and move on to a more liberal society? I know that isn't what you meant when you said that, but I felt it needed pointing out that not all things people complain about, are in actuality their fault or their mistake. They can often be someone else's fault and mistake.
I would agree that we as a society do need to move on to a more liberal, less anal mentality though. We need to forgive (but not forget) the errors of the past, learn from them and do our very best not to repeat them again, or do something similar to them again. If we are unable to do that, then we ARE doomed to repeat the tragedies of the past, and the repetitions may be even more horrendous than the originals.

That's bull****. If wannabe racebiologists wants to go on ranting about their opinions, they should be allowed to, just as you should be allowed to rant about your opposite opinions and hope the people follow you instead. The freedom of speech is total. It doesn't exclude certain opinions.
Note that I am talking about the freedom of speech as it should be, not as it stands today in our societies. I respect the opinions of every man, if only the person with them can debate them on an intellectual level. I give no respect to unintelligent people. OP seems to be one of them.

Tha National Socialist Party grew underground with a charismatic character leading them: Adolf ******. It was a rough them in Germany back then because of them getting wrongfully blamed for World War I. If you try to ban certain words or opinions, you are forcing these opinions to grow underground where they get a hold of people needing someone to blame.
The freedom of speech must be maintained and protected - with blood if necessary. The people of Europe today are not responsible for the holocaust. I take no responsibility for the damage caused to your people. All I care about is the continued liberties of mine. ___

It does not. Sweden, possibly the most liberal country in the world, for example, has clear laws regarding racial slurs - they are by no means lawful, despite our countrys adamant stance on freedom of speech. Your right to say and thing what you want is not a green card to slander and attack somebody else based on their race.

he is not ranting about an opinion, he is performing a personal attack based on race. I do not know where you live, but I cannot think of a single liberal democracy that would openly condone such behavior. Correct me if Im wrong.

So? Does it matter? The idea of 'the freedom of speech' still stands as it stands. Please, do not bring up Sweden with politicians who sells their own country to lick the ass of America. Never has the world seen such bull**** streaming of a country. Both Norway and Denmark are laughing at ass as antisemitism are growing in Malm÷, Sweden, in an almost as fast pace as in the Netherlands. ___

Having the right to speak your mind is not an issue with me, in fact I encourage it within reason, but if what you are speaking is hateful and shameful, while it shouldn't be censored, it should be looked on for what it is, hateful and shameful.
As you say, if you force things underground, they can take root within the minds of angry, disenfranchised, or outright crazy people. However, if you also allow them to be spoken openly, they can do the same thing as well. Free speech is a double edged sword, it cuts both ways.

You can't have it both ways. Either you are for 'the freedom of speech' or you are against. I am for, and I will protect any man from prosecution due to his opinions. Exactly what is says: the freedom to express whichever opinions you have on your mind, without being able to get dragged to court or censored in the media.

Indeed. But to measure freedom by America as a standard is beyond problematic - America is far from the only liberal democracy out there.
