Damn those node-crashes :(
It took about 10-15 min from I jumped to I ended up in VV-VCR, and another 5 minutes to target and get the guns to fire. Then people started dropping due to node crashes.. We regrouped at a safespot, then I got dropped by a node-crash. And when i logged back on (took a loooong time) I was warped back to the gate insted of the safespot :(
So I was warped straight into ex-Ca's remaining forces and their nice warp bubbles and got gangraped.. Lost ship, clone and implants :p
Good fight, too bad node-crashes ****** it all up.

I warped in to the battle, I couldn't see anyone else.
Eventually everyone else loaded. I started an attack run. Ship did not respond. I tried to turn on autopilot. Nothing happened. Eventually, EVE crashes. When I log back in, i'm in a pod in warp. Guess where to? YES! thats right, the gate where the enemy is. I turn on autopilot and prey that I get out. I drop out of warp. Nothing there. I try to warp out, nothing happens. About 5 minutes later, I am suddenly back in a station having been podded.
So yes, JQA was uneffected by Lag. Not. Everyone had the same problems.
You petitioned that you were stuck, so CCP moved you. JQA just waitied patiently for our screens to load, only to find you had all vanished. That was your choice. You can't have everything you know!

warp bubbles are a fine tactic, spaming is not. We don't spam and if it really was a problem you would petition it not complain here. try again. |

I think the problem is when you double click to target or something it stupidly sends a convo. I have no clue why on earth CCP did that, but then again there are alot of things that confuse me :/

Problem is, CCP can't fix it. If they could im sure they would.
Simple fact is that they have a critical programing problem with there network code. SO, they can either A) Ignore the problem as long as the # of subscribers goes up or B)Spend a ton of money on new code and new hardware.
Simple fact is, CCP knows about it, but it's not profitable for them to fix it atm. ONly when they start seeing there numbers go DOWN will they look to fix it.
But I do agree, It's friggin BS, and in the long run it's gonna spell the end of this game if not fixed.

I just want to remind you tho, that the convo button is right on the side of lock, so I for one sometimes convo the enemy for that reason(usually he accepts and I apoligise), and JQA atleast did NOT tell anyone to convo you to increase the lag, and I doubt any JQA member would do that anyhow, but please throw us some screenies, and they will be looked at.

no offense but we did not lose that battle.
I agree there is no point in flaming CCP, as this has happened multiple times before in other fleet battles all over eve.
But still as a customer of this game, I don't understand why a representative of CCP can't tell us if anything is being done to help resolve the CTD's and node's going down. They seem to ignore threads like these all the time.
PS: Also, pls when moving someone to a deadspace, dont move them right where enemies are at ;o this didnt happen to me, but it did happen to a few of my fellow alliance fighters.

Well I've filed a petition about a pilot convoing me. I was in a frig about to jump into VV-VCR from the M2-CF1 gate. I was convoed. Tonight it was a xetic pilot. Last time it was a JQA pilot. Sadly I didn't get a screeny of the JQA pilot. I have one of the Xetic pilot though. No apology came from the guy after I accepted his convo.
The Print Screen key is your friend 
Most of the JQA pilots have displayed honour, but not all. Always some bad apples in every er orchid or something.

There is NO way any of our forces resort to "convoing" during battle ... for crying out loud we dont have to resort to such tactics ever to win...
As for JQA/3rd front doing it i await eveidence supporting it ( although ALOT of our guys said it happened)
As for the warp "bubbles" , we were just returining the favour 
As for the node death , we had already won the field , i didnt even see anyone else at the gate , let alone ur fleet dropping drones , but this could have been the lag that made the node death
If we find out it was anything to do with Convoing/drone dropping/other lag making tactics it WILL be proven by us ( i really hope it isnt) so far u guys have been admirable adversaries

The lag when JQA/3rd jumped in on us where prolly even i would guees for my wiev i couldent se any enemy ship for 5 mins and the i crashed got back in after 10 mins and enjoyed the fight for alot time.
Then the NODE crash and at this point i log in almost instant. i get out of warp at the gate and se only 2 other friedns and a 5 enemy bs. well i pick a target and my guys start to come out of warp those who could get in. and ow the fight rage again for about 20 mins i think where we kill alot enemy bs until the enemy finally pull everything out
we hold the gate and jqa/3rd front warps in whit ALOT at this point we only have i think 35% of our fleet online and have to bail out to a spot 200 km from the fight and now JQA/3rd front do a drone launch and Bang Node crash.
after that node crash we have ppl getting moved to system all over the place plsu even guys getting drop in deadspace next to enemys, offcourse that goes for both part who get ppl moved.
but as one of the few being able to log on again instant after second node crash i can actually se the count of ppl in VV-V
there is 100+ in local and more then 50 at the gate and we cant get more then 20 ppl online and because of that jqa/3rd fron can gather all our loot 
so good fight when it was going on but after second node crash it went ****ty.

Again if there is some problem with any misbehaviour with our pilots, use our forums aswell, register and post in the grievances forum.
