I'd like a serious response from CCP about the UTTER and ABSOLUTE farce that went on in VV-VCR tonite
Point 1: (and this isnt meant to flame our opposing forces ) We were winning that battle hands down
Point 2 : Node died
Point 3: well over half of out fleet couldnt get back into the game (it is now 23:33) stuck for over 2 hours
Point 4: when petitions were answered , they moved us all over place
Point 5: some of our guys were moved to Deadspace , IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENEMY FFS
Point 6: we were winning , that whole entire battle was pointless for both sides , over 100 ppl from our side just spent an entire evening , preparing and fighting this battle for nothing due to Node death
I/WE (and im sure a lot more ppl) , would like an official response for this utter farce that happened tonight from CCP

The crash royally screwed us up. When we crashed we had control of the gate, we were winning the battle.
Due to crashing we have not only "technically lost" the battle, but we have not been able to pick up the spoils of war (cans of our enemies, or the few that dropped from our own).
As Fangdango put it, this is a farce.
How are we meant to finish the battle when half of our forces are in one system and half are in another, with a hostile force in between!
CCP! How dare you split our fleet up!
In doing so you have shown massive favouritism to the JQA forces, this is insane and unfair.

The worst thing that happened was that some of our guys petitioned that they were stuck and got moved into the enemy's safespots...
I tried relogging 6 times during the hours of battle, but each time I was greeted by a nice "node down" message and couldn't see a single other player in system. I got shot by a couple invisible cruise missiles from some Raven that was who knows where.
Not to mention, it took 15 minutes to load all of the enemies when the node was still running... I can't even check my killmails because the damn killmail is down.
As I just heard on TS "I'm going to go over to Iceland and kill all the penguins they have over there because of this sh%*."

I guess EVE was only meant to have 10vs10 combat max.
Although it's strange how the JQA fleet seemed to be much less effected than ours.
Luck of the draw I guess.

No Nafri, I have been in many fleet battles.
I agree there is lag... I can tolerate lag....
But what i cannot tolerate is the fact that:
1) 75% of our fleet crashed and could not log back on without filing stuck petitions.
2) Once we did get our petitions answered half of our fleet was in one system, half in an other, with an enemy blob in between us. What are we expected to do having our fleat split up?

too bad ppl are having sutch flames on this forum towards the other party.
FYI, when jumped in we lost roughly 25% of the force allready due to stuck issues.
If you want to flame CCP Sure, but don't go and flame us because you guy's where winning and that was because 40% of our guy's couldn't get back in the ******* game ..

erm tbh I dont think you can say we lost, to put it in to perspective 1 person of our gang got 9 BS kill mails others 3 or 4 each. When the node crashed we controled the gate the only reason you actually got control back was due to CCP and not your own skills.
I KNOW you guys lost more than us so don't come here claiming you won fuze.

Granted you guys fought well, but when you say you lost 40% immediately at jump-in, so did we. Half of our people couldn't even see that any of you had jumped in. Again JQA and 3FA actually massed a force and fought against us- and that is laudable- but please don't claim that our vacating the field was due to any losses you inflicted.

maybe we are expecting they SOLVE the problem ? maybe are we paying for THAT ? some try to play the game ONE of the ways its intended to be played, i dont its too much to ask for, sincerely.
And for the fuze guy, its not the same that 5 people crash, then a node dies, just for your information.

What happened to you before? We were owning you on the field of battle. I was gonna be nice a constructive but as all major battles we were owning you. We were wiping you out. Then the noce crashed (as it did for you, I'm sure) And then someof you managed to not crash and or log in quicker and gank lone battle ships FORCED to warp to the gate by game mechanics. Half of us can't log on at all. The rest peititioned and either got moved to systems around or as 1 or 2 got put IN TO a dead space WITH YOU. This is not a victory for you.
And BTW. We'll be back, we did respect you but more posts like yours will eroade that. Your days are numbered.

tbh we're complaining because we all got scattered, can't get in, can't get our stuff (or your stuff), and sat around waiting for a good battle for hours only to get disconnected or shot at or missiled by some unseen attacker. Not JQA/3FA's fault at all, but very frustrating.

i was frozen for 5 minutes on entering, crashed 3 times (once for over 10 minutes) and had to deal with the fact that it was over a minute at least before I could even see the 7 warp bubbles Supremacy had up and thier 100 man blob 80k above the gate. If anything those darn bubbles ruined it and we had exactly the same amount of crashes and lag as supremacy except we all jumped in blind and unable to warp out (disadvantage!!!).
I think the difference here was that Xetic was kicking arse along side JQA/3rd Front. The XCA aren't giveing them enough credit for thier combat prowess and general baditude. Supremacy did make a deal with them to keep out, violated their word, Xetic responded. simple as that :)
good fight though i didn't like those warp bubbled, they cost me a lot of cruise missles to blow up :(
Who had that uber-thron that was throwing out such damage at 80k? I thought they sucked at that range? share your leet secrets!!! |

Can i ask what happened on the JQA/3rd Front/Xetic side when the node dropped? Did they have serious drops as well, or the same problems logging in or just some (severe?) lag?
I heard a couple of report in TS from a very small number of people (cause nearly everyone had crashed out) that just prior to one of the drops, the enemy fleet that warped in dropped drones when they came out of warp. I'm curious about this one if drones are a big part of the problems we suffered. Can anyone from the opposing fleet say if this was the case?
Also, we've also had 3 or 4 reports of mass convo/gang invite spawn on people logging back in. I'd personally ask if people in the enemy fleet(s) still there, could pass it on to refrain from doing this, the people whom it has happened to are understandibly already on low tempers and are petitioning with screenshots etc.

Nah i think the other guys are whining because like me they can't get back into the game etc read original post it points out most of the reason why others are whining.
EDIT: PLS CAN JQA AND 3RD FRONT PILOTS STOP SPAMMING OUR PILOTS WITH CONVOS AND GANG INVITES WHEN THEY FINALLY LOG IN
