This is a load of bull. The new neo-com was a great improvement, however the option to snap it vertically, horizontally, on whatever side of the screen was the feedback that I was seeing. Unless I'm not seeing the vast majority of purist's feedback.
Keep the new neo-com, at least for beta review. To pull it before it's gotten at least a beta review, as a beta OPTION, is really strange to me. A wtf moment if I've ever heard one.
If something is promised, AS A BETA OPTION no less, then I say throw it out to us and give us a chance to use it. I've been really pleased with the changes at CCP and with EVE - DON'T RUIN IT NOW.

As I understand, this was one of those spare-time/after-work/hobby/only-while-drunk projects. For those of you who liked the new 'functionality' and didn't even notice the 'game crippling poor design' how about we let the professional UI designer specialist CCP hired start over on it and make it actually good?

Only the weak minded resort to personal insults rather than discuss something intelligently - check out that word on google. For your information I have worked as a senior computer engineer for over 15 years. So if you want to put your computer knowledge up against mine bring it on, Der Valkirie aka numb nuts. Note the single "t".
PS does a Masters Degree in Computer Science qualify as a "test you have to take to own a computer" ?

I do have to agree that giving regular players the "BETA" option on new features was a good idea. I have tried using the test severs many times but it usually requires 1/2 hours loading updates of up to 1,2,3,4 Gigs and even though I have very fast broadband connection it is annoying so I do not do it very often. I believe this site was started in a sense of adventure but over the last 18 months that sense of adventure/innovation seems to have been lost.
