Ok so I'm leadning the leadership skills; at first I was just going to do the bare minimum to get a command ship but then I decided I'd do an entire neural remap and blast the leadership skills for a good few months to confer the loverly passive and active bonuses on my fleets.
HOWEVER
Today I formed a fleet with my corpy and I seemed to be getting the passive bonuses but he didnt, what gives?

Well if one of you were getting the bonuses I guess you had your command structure in place, squad commander with 1 member in the squad. This seems to be a bug at the moment with gang links, my friend was just trying to run some on his Orca with no bonuses being filter down to the squad members. All I can suggest is file a bug report with as much detail as you can to help them sort the problem.

I wasnt actually running any tactical warfare links, I was just trying to pass on the passive skill bunuses to armor, sheild ect, I know I got the sheild one because I got a bit of red on teh ole sheild, not sure if I got the rest of them or not

I found that you have to fleet up with yourself as squad commander, then put your buddy as squad commander, then leave fleet and have him reinvite and then make you squad leader. I know this is ridiculous, but this is what I have done to get rid of the bug.

Start a fleet, move yourself to SC1 position. Automatically your buddy will be in your squad and you'll both get bonuses.
You must both be undocked in the same system.
