As did several other people when the Alpha was released, almost 8 years ago. It was a bad idea then and is still one now.

Also, if you would have read my post you would have understood that I was talking about keeping the point and click system in-game still, so people can revert to it when they are in combat or whenever they wish.
Except implementing these changes would require server side changes that would be detrimental to the overall game experience for everyone else who isn't pretending to be a fighter pilot.
Originally by: UAFWolfcry As far as making things lag, I don't think so. There already is close enough to first person view, it's not going to make things lag to make it full first person.
Someone doesn't know how computers work.
Originally by: UAFWolfcry EVERYONE would be happy because if the third person nuts want to look at their character or ship in third person they can zoom out to third person, or use point and click if they desire. And the first person nuts can choose that view if they wish. Not difficult, not hard and keeping everyone happy.
I wouldn't be happy. Several people in this thread wouldn't. Most people in game wouldn't.
Originally by: UAFWolfcry Why the heck is it that only one genre of people in this game get to stay happy? Is it because they are the whiniest and loudest about it? If that's the case I'm just going to have to keep piping up about this until someone does something about it. If you think coming on here and attacking every post that suggests these things is going to make CCP think that the majority doesn't want it, that's too bad.
Spaceships Online. That's pretty niche. Don't like it? Then quit. Can I have your stuff?
Originally by: UAFWolfcry I know a lot of people who want these things, and you said yourself many people before me have wanted it. So obviously it's important to people.
A thousand idiots supporting a stupid idea does not make it a good idea.
