I am crashing 5 to 5 minutes... (crash to windows desktop, no error message displayed... no blue screen, no system error, nothing!!! One second I am looking at Eve screen, the next second i am looking to windows desktop)
No matter if i am warpping, marketing, minering, etc...
But I never crash if I keep ALT+TAB to Internet Explorer...
I did everything from ClockMon to full OS reinstall (tried win 98, win ME and XP)... Now i dont have any VirusScan or Firewall, and any other software installed... only EVE... And the 5 minutes crash is still here!!!! I unnistaled my sound card, etc. etc. etc. and the problem is still here!!!!
I can play SWG, WoW and EQ2 all day long with no problem !!!!
My computer is: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2600+ 1536MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900XT SoundMAX Digital Audio ASUS A7V600-X MotherBoard DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Anyone can help, please ????

Just to be sure - have you been sure to update everything? That'll be video drivers, mainboard drivers, soundcard drivers (if you re-installed it), and be sure to re-install direct-x 9.0c AFTER driver updates. Also have windows up to service pack 2.
Also try dis-abling sound in eve. ctrl+alt+shift+f12 does this. May as well check that one off easily.
Perhaps check your virtual memory file, though I can't imagine it'd need that with your ram quantity.
It almost sound like it could be a ram problem . After 5 minutes it reaches the problem point in the ram or something. If nothing else works you may want to test out other ram to be sure.
Hope something up there is something you overlooked and it fixes it |

Also the techi where i have my stuff built at thinks it is a possible game conflict. Soemthing the makers should look into i think :)

I'm running an AMD/NVidia setup. The only problem i have is sometimes when I've ALT-TAB'd out to Windows desktop and my ship enters a station I can't ALT-TAB back in. In fact it seems the game just freezes. My system is as follows:
AMD 2800+ XP MSI K6 MB Geforce 4 GF 512Mb Ram 630Gb HD (split over 5 drives) on board 5.1 surround sound DirectX 9.0c Win XP SP2
Apart from that its fine.
