So I was like, okay, I could tweak a few things I guess. I ended up basically just altering my portrait. It told me this was my new portrait, and I clicked okay. Problem is, I now have two portraits in game-

Here is my new portrait. This is the portrait that appears before I enter game-

But in game, my character sheet shows my old portrait-

Clear your cache.
It also takes a while for the new portrait to be rendered and updated on the server. About 2hrs to over a day, especially due to the amount of people creating them/ ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

I'm going on over 5 days here. Is that still a server render backlog, or something else? I see it's a known issue, but the only responses I see are clear cache (done that, tried on a 2nd PC) and wait 2-24 hours (been over 108).

Edited by: Midnight DeZire on 27/01/2011 14:22:00 Similar issue for me. My home pc is too slow to handle the portrait part of character creation so I created at work. Played a little on work pc, was very happy with the avatar.
Later that day logged in on home pc using the same graphics settings as at work to find that while the basic look was the same, I'd acquired a miserable looking frown and the nice clear specs had changed to very dark. I know the char should look the same on both pc's as I'd already created on home pc as far as the portrait section, with identical results, so I know it's not any difference in graphics between the two machines.
Not the end of the world, but annoying nonetheless. Any ideas? Or is it clear cache/wait a bit again?
PS - the char i see after writing this is the second one if that's relevant...
