I'm always naked in my pod anyway floating in fluid and wired in and thereby protected by clone technology. Its only on those rare occaisons that business or the lure of R & R calls me out of the pod to venture into a safe environment like a station. It is then, that I look my portrait.

Was annoyed enough that my character had totally changed from the orginal Vherokior style, but I adapted and went for a nice 'in theme' barbaric kind of look, which is enhanced by a bare chest and arms with just a leather waistcoat over the top - so now if I want to EVER redo a portrait or add any tatoos I will once again have to go back to the drawing board? Unfortunatly, once again it's a few adolescent muppets ruining it for everyone when a blanket 'punishment' like this is introduced...

Solator Auxilium	Posted - 2011.01.27 14:20:00 - [44] Honestly I don't believe its a censorship thing from CCP's side, they probably just never intended the avatars to show bare chests which is why you couldn't continue to the portrait fase without equipping a shirt, as you get a notification that you need to select a shirt to continue. That you where able to select a jacket instead of a shirt so you won't get the notication, making you able to circumvent the system, was probably just a bug to begin with and they decided to fix it. And now everyone is being all upset thinking CCP suddenly got prude (?). If they intended to show bras then you would have probably had more variation in them instead of the boring black bra everyone girl is wearing. I wouldn't be surprised to see more skimpy clothing added in the future, it just isn't implented yet.
