Ive been thinking about this whole "guns are deadly" issue. Lasers, hybrids, projectiles.. they all do icky things.
So I have an idea. Guns of all sorts could be replaced by TAregeted Rapid Deployment HUMan Pain Resolvers (TARDHUMPRs). They would consist of a trained conflict resolution specialist shot at the target in a pod. The TARDHUMPR would then board the enemy ship and politely reason with the enemy pilot as to the merits of your position. Hopefully this will facilitate the finding of a solution to the conflict that is amicable to both parties.
And no one will lose the cruiser that they bought for no good reason! And no one will lose the indy full of minerals that they refuse to pay an escort to protect!

I think Gauss is on to something here! Maybe with the next patch we can see some TARDHUMPRS. Wonder what the going rate would be, and some BPs. Lets all hope the next patch can deliever.

What if i find a looted TARDHUMPR called a ReTARDHUMPR which would allow me to shoot virus infected slaves instead of those trained conflict resolution specialists? Wouldn't people still *****?

Oh, and while CCP is adjusting the weapon system, maybe they could release fluffy little pink and light blue bears on the market that take up 0.00 cargo space so you can put as many of them in as you want :)
