CCP, why were some bubbles offline AFTER downtime?
Bubbles were online BEFROE downtime.
WHY were bubbles offlined that just so happened to clear a path to the gates?
Has IT been batphoning again??

Anyways, hi to the Goons, WI and TEST pilots i know. As for the rest of yas, you realise how bad this makes your alliances look, right?
Just take a chillpill, get back to pewpewing and all will be well in the land of EVE.
Your parents must be pretty disappointed in you.
A) All the bubbles around the station were online.
B) All the bubbles around the gates were online
C) Bubbles on POSs that had caps in them were offline.
Why is such a broken mechanic (if it is even broken) allowed to exist??? Bubbles on POSs are there for a very important reason!

CCP Presents: The T30 Scandal - we've had T20 now CCP brings you its newest scandal for this decade, once again proving that IT == CCP and vice versa. Once again the playerbase have been reassured that the natural order is working and is very healthy, and now we can all get on with our lives knowing that IT will never die because CCP will always save them.
This has been a community service announcement on behalf of CCP - Constantly Creating Problems

Yes.. you crashed the server
Yes you did.
But before it died, i managed to kill a maelstrom from IT that somehow managed to be in warp with me straight to a bubble that happened to be up (on station) |

To CCP and others,
Just speaking from myself here. I know that in NC/DCs war with IT will make no difference monetarily. I don't think that it will make a difference socially either if they did escape or get blown up.
Why is that?
Because i know they had to use a bug within the game to escape. Sure the bugs can be annoying when they are encountered, and we ALL want them fixed up, and fixed properly.
please, if you do find the error, don't do a shortcut fix on it, implement a reliable fix on it. But please, could you add a little priority to this issue? I believe it is one very critical mechanic to use, and is of course very important.
To IT, whether or not your super caps would have been destroyed is now pointless. What is the 100% truth though, is that you exploited a known bug to save yourself and your ship. You got help from your corpies ONLY by them telling you 'the bubbles are offline, log in and jump away'. You never fought your way out, you ran away because of a bug let you. Remember that, because next time there won't be a bug to save you.

I have no idea how the coding works, but i think a script to identify the bubbles in each system could be run, commanding them to online, right before the server allows connections again.
Maybe a short report/checklist can be actively running while the server is online, before accepting connections, making sure things like POS force fields are up, bubbles are online, POS modules are online etc... or anything that has question marks about it.
if there already is a similar process, or it is all automated, then the flaw has to be somewhere.
If CCP needs more data, i would be happy to get some TESTies on the test server to get some data?
