2005.01.25 20:01:00 - The war between Body Count Inc. and Mercenary Forces is coming to an end. Body Count Inc. has retracted the war against Mercenary Forces. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.
2005.01.25 20:01:00 - The war between Sharks With Frickin' Laser Beams and Mercenary Forces is coming to an end. Sharks With Frickin' Laser Beams has retracted the war against Mercenary Forces. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.
The Mercenary Coalition hereby announces the cessation of hostilities with the corp. known as Mercenary Forces [MF].
Beginning on 2005.01.03 20:43:00, Coalition forces engaged, camped, killed and otherwise occupied our target's assets in Empire with all available force. Over the last several days, the membership count of MF has dwindled to a fraction of its former size. Many members have moved on to other corps similar in nature to MF while some are in the process of seeking out a new career path altogether. We wish them well.
As a resolution to this war, on 2005.01.24 02:04:00 we received a communiquÚ from the CEO of Mercenary Forces stating that he had attempted to meet our client's demands and disband the corp. He was unable to do so due to game mechanics involving the issue of outstanding shares. In lieu of that, he has removed himself from the CEO position and left the corp.
Whether or not MF becomes an active corp. again does not concern us at this point. For all purposes, at this moment, MF is a corp in name only. BDCI and FRICK are pleased that we have achieved the complete satisfaction of our client and have no further stake in this matter. This contract is now fulfilled.

To bdci and frick: Im sure you guys had a great time with this last war. I only got to see a small fraction of the battles on my way through orvolle.
One thing is worth mentioning: Much of MF was absorbed into VOTF and other corporations in our coalition, they may cease to exist as an entity but it was not the war that killed them.

I think its cool that the 2 main rival merc corps were fighting each other for contracts. Kinda Realistic for EVE.

You mean 3  . BDCI and FRICK are very close, but we're more of an alliance than a single corp

A few good fights were had. Mostly ganks and camps though. But I must admit, you guys do your job well. Allthough a very boring style of play for both parties, you get the job done.
However, MF dispanted for reasons that has very little to do with BDCI/FRICK. True, you did not make our life any easier. But in the end, it was a conflict of interrest within MF that led to it being dispanded.
I have no doubts though, that your contract is forfilled regardless.
Well, it was... ermm... Interresting. I'm sure we'll cross paths again some day :)

mookids whatever, frick tried to engage whenever we could at least get a draw, and just cos u were beat cos of our "blobbing" doesnt mean we are imcompetent. Guess what we fight outnumered all the time and we come out on top, guess what we come out we try to to fight but if it means defeat we cant engage as we actually care for our rep and will settle for a draw. If MF had maybe been more competent concerning their membership this outblobbing could have been avoided
remember our contract demanded defeat of MF and thats what we got so to use the old adage kthxbye
another edit: guess what we fight ountumbered as well and erm lose :(

People please don't get distracted by the fairy tale of the "fair fight" or "even odds". There is no such thing. There is only kill mail and loss mail. We declared war on your corporation. War, not an invitation to a duel.
I am a mercenary. I was paid to hit a target. If I show up in your system with a large force and you can't leave your station then I've reduced your ability to operate, to make money, to do whatever you do. That is a win for my client. Nothing more.
Also, please note that my corp mate Velsharoon has the most kickass sig on this thread.

More like when BoBo declared and attacked Sharks and they needed to call in BDCI to save them.
As for the CA comment, what do you expect us to do when we are only blob camped by them. We've been camped like this before, but at least the others have the decency to fight when we retaliate.

This issue has been dealt with and resolved in another thread. Bottom line: BDCI & FRICK were actively engaged in three wars together (inculding an alliance war against FA) thus we were ganged at all times. I'm not going to have myself or our commanders handicapped because half the gang has red targets that the other half doesn't.
Or you can believe FRICK came crying to us to "save them". Whatever explaination makes more sense, go with it.

I think a quick glance at the kills by corporation on our Coalition killboard will show quite clearly that we have no parent corporation.
FRICK & BDCI are brothers in arms. We are equals, and always have been. Anyone suggesting otherwise is sadly misinformed.
Edit: To clarify, I am referring to the 'Top Corps' section, not the 'Most Killed Corps' section.
