I'm a Caldari pilot and only fly a drake for my missions. I occasionally receive this message when requesting a mission:
This site is restricted to certain ship types; your Drake will not be able to access it. You must use one of the following types of ship:
òAssault Ship
òCovert Ops
òDestroyer
òElectronic Attack Ship
òFrigate
òInterceptor
òInterdictor
òRookie ship
òShuttle
òStealth Bomber
I was wondering what other ship would be best to equip and skill up to among those allowed by my agent. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure this is a level three? I've never seen that once. Thats the typical list for a level two mission that they don't want you to use a cruiser on.

You are correct. These appeared when flying lower missions. I assumed they would also show up in higher missions as well so i was just trying to anticipate my needs. I appreciate your reply.

I would go with the assualt ship my self but thats just me .Honestly the best ship on the list is the one that is most in line with your styl and game plan.Plan on flying a heavy interdicter? Then go with destroyers then interdicters ect,play to your strengths.

They do appear in level 3 and 4 missions too.. but the ship list is much longer. Usually only leaving out capitals and maybe battleships for some level 3s

I just received a Lvl 3 mission in Kusomonmon V - Moon 9 - Caldari Navy Testing Facilities from Uedamon Ahvinen, Lvl III Quality: 0
Pick Your Poison with the following message:
This site is restricted to certain ship types; your Drake will not be able to access it. You must use one of the following types of ship:

òCruiser

Enterprise, Voyager, Millenium Falcon, or Prometheus. Anyone of them is viable if your trolling. If your not and completely missed the point of this new missions (time sink! crap reward and zero bounties), rig and fit a T1 frig for speed while using a MWD, fly in, pick one of the two empire amabassadors, everything blows up (you take zero damage), take second gate back to first room, align and fly to SOE ship while oppossing faction spawns and tries to shoot you, drop into SOE ship, done. Saved yourself the time of posting, its that fast.

If not a troll best choices are Cruiser (low skill) Assault ship (high skill)

Assault ship, but sounds like an L2 not L3, for L2 a destroyer would be equally effective without the training time.

It's a l3 with l2 difficulty. That means a cruiser.

It might be a good idea to start leveling assault ship skill though, seeing as you need it for hac's and things.

I'm pretty sure most lvl 3s are bc accessible.
However from the list you have cruiser would be the ship with highest dps.
AF might be a higher tank due to small signature and speed but a cruiser would definitely finish the mission faster.
As a caldari pilot I think the caracal would be your drake for lower level missions.

Yeah as you are a drake pilot a caracal would do the trick, if there is restricted access it means the mission would be too easy for your drake anyway. Never seen that list on a Lvl 3 though ....

Level - Low Skilled Pilot - High Skilled Pilot
L1 - Frigate (Rifter) - Assault Frig (Wolf/Jag)
L2 - Cruiser (Caracal) - HAC (Vagabond)
L3 - Battlecruiser (Drake) - Battlecruiser (Drake)
L4 - Battleship (Raven/Apoc) - Marauder (Golem/Paladin)
