I am not sure what you mean... I don't think there is an issue of tracking ships of your size.
By specific ship bonus and yes, sometimes you don't hit stuff (bs vs bs sized) when you are supposed to use the weapon systems having the gratest tracking of all close range weapons, it's ridiculous at that point.

I am not sure how adding more speed is supposed to help blasters as all ships using armor tank will be faster as well. Then again, the issue is rather speed than blasters.
It is very interesting proposal though and I like it very much.
Adding specific ship bonus will counter that, and yes the bigest problem is about to get in dps range and the next one is APLYING that dps.
So speed is one of the problems but how apply the dps blasters are supposed to do in EFT when in real situations the numbers are very far from what you get? light years I should say, then you add tracking issues on the weapon system supposed to have the gratest tracking...
If you start bu puting one patch here one patch there you'll never get something usefull 100% before a few years. It's the whole gallente/hybrids concept that must be put on the table and fully remaked.
TBH gallente named has "drone" people or kickasses when you get on blasters range is far from what the are atm. And stop throwing that domi****/vexor/ishtar full of neuts/nos expecting his dones to do the job, anyone with half a brain will allways start by kick those drones with his own and once again what's the purpose of bringing drone boats to hybrid boats discussions? u mad bro's?
