How can I create a public fleet advertisement that ANYBODY can join without specifying standings or corp?

How come? I dont know how to setup an advert for anybody, It keeps asking for standings etc.
The form is overcomplicated for such a simple task. Maybe its me, but I cant manage to setup a public open fleet :(

just try for a moment to imagine how many active public fleets there would be in Jita. it would bring Eve to it's knees.

100% public fleets would be dumb. Asking for people to fleet up in local or incursion channel is still pretty dumb, but sometimes necessary.
What isn't clear to me, and I haven't gone through and figured out, is if corp or alliance blues can be used to create a fleet, or if it's only personal blues. If not, there's a big loss in functionality, right there.

It would be useful for Sansha live events and other times, for randomly fleeting up a wolfpack to roam.

if they are blue to your alliance they show up as blue in space and local dont they?
so ya afaik u can let ppl blue to ur corp/alliance join one
of course for me this makes for some good lolz as i know quote a few ppl and occasionally find random fleets in deep 0.0 or pirate roaming fleets that i can join whenever i feel like it cause i happen to know the FC or something XD

Nobody uses fleet adverts anyway, so why bother? The only way I picked up any fleets during the recent Araz and Gallente Incursions was to luck into one from local. NOTHING was ever advertised.
I say it should be removed. Bloat is bloat.
