This from an elected CSM rep, who is also NC. LMAO. Yeah why am I not surprised to see yet more favoritism rampant in EVE. When you put on that CSM hat Vuk Lau, you're supposed to leave your alliance affiliations at the door, and pay attention to player complaints, regardless of your you may feel about those making them in game. Like most politicians, I suppose that you've forgotten you're in that seat to represent US. Whatever the "other advantages" may be (and most regions have their own), even a 50% reduction in value without notice, or anything in the patch notes, is a serious breach of the trust that has to exist between the players and the GM/Devs. A Haven site is worth about 20m isk + salvage and loot. Ask CCP what the value of the Drone equivalent now is, then factor in shipping cost, then report back to US, the people who elected you, what the situation is and CCP's rationale behind making massive game play changes without any notification. Again, it's all about the trust.
"PLEX is one of the currencies currently in EVE -- a medium to pay for services/goods. The EVE economy has been mismanaged in the past according to Hilmar and as it stands now there is too much money in the system, thus all future changes to it have to be done in a careful and considerate manner." This, from the minutes of the last CSM meeting. If I can't trust that CCP is telling me when they are making changes that will seriously affect game play (you're talking about massive amounts of minerals, what could affect it more???), why should I bother with continuing to pay for my 3 accounts? This is where CCP's .9% player drop comes in. FYI, I used to run more accounts, but I just don't see the point when I can't count on CCP's honesty and transparency.
As for the guy posting this, I want solid numbers. I want to know roughly what a given anomaly was dropping before the patch, and what it drops now. Not in isk. I'll do my own number crunching, you tell me what alloys they drop and in what quantities. Having seen the market out there, you're getting ripped off if you're selling zydrine to 800isk buy orders anyway. What I don't want to hear is about how the region has been nerfed without anything to back it up. You give us numbers, we support you in getting it investigated and resolved. That's how it works. No proof = STFU.
