Hi all,
are there any weapons, except Smartbombs, that do _NOT_ require a turret or launcher hardpoint?
Thanx zunami |

Depending on your point of view, you could call cloaking devices weapons I guess ;)

Doesnt seem like many options to fit into the hi slot, when compared to mid and low. Most of the hi slot fittings also being dependant upon hardpoints and tubes. I am surprised that some of the "EW" ships arent alloted "EW" mid slot points, with fast ships being alloted propulsion slots and so on. It seems like a trend was started, but cut off abruptly with the basic ship fitting desgin. A little more rigid structure would most likely lead to a wider variety of ships being used.

yeah, but thats not a good thing. it just means whenever you see a particular ship, you're going to know EXACTLY how it's fitted. or pretty damn close anyway.
a scorpion isnt the only ship used to jam, but it would be with that idea. |
