That's why you don't fly a typical fit, but go for a good one instead. It's trivial to get 500+ DPS out of a Drake. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Isn't that exactly what I said?
You rather implied that it would be theory-crafting. I'm saying that 500+ should be the "typical setup" if people just stopped needlessly overtanking the damned thing ù typical or not, 250û300 means you've done it wrong.
Originally by: Artemis Rose Do share a fit. Bonus points if it has rigors to support the fury missile habit and double bonus points if you could do it without using Kinetic damage.
Ok, but for those bonus points, I will have to break out the big wallet:
4+ CN BCU. 1+ 10MN AB II 1+ Pithum C-Type 1+ SBA II 2+ Mission-specific hardeners (Faction) 1+ Cap booster II 7+ HML II 1+ Flare II 2+ Rigor II
An even 500 DPS with Hobgoblins and Thunderbolt Fury, if my EFT is to be believed. ù 600 if Scourge Fury is used. Most of the cost comes from the need to (drastically) reduce the CPU requirements onà wellà everything if you want to get all the bonus points in. And then, of course, there are the implants, which should give give another 50:ish DPS.
That said, I'd ignore all that and only open the wallet a little bit for a dual-Pithi-B setup, the rest T2, and settle for 534 kinetic DPS (w/ Hornetsà 580 or so with the proper implants) because I'd use a different boat for targets that weren't kinetic-weak. Hell, I'd probably even make it cap-stable, just because it's easier on the CPU load. At any rate, "one ship fits all" is a rather counter-productive philosophy in my experience, so willfully ignoring that kinetic bonus would be rather silly. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |
