Dark rising, in attempts to get past our battulship blockade, used the new grid exploit that, when pulling a cloakwarp trick, crashes clients. The logs, show nothing, sadly. Its sad that they attempted to, instead of fighting with ecm, simply forced clients down.
It seems even the good old corps have fallen into feggitry, using exploits to break up fleets.
If you dont know about this new works as intended feature, if the ship pulling the trick is on your overview, then you are affected.
Now that my wall of text is done, simply
tl;dr
dark rising are figs.
Although not good figs, cause a honor tackler caught a nighthawk on the other side and it died to sansha.

If it is 'working as expected' perhaps you can expose it here and the subsequent community outcry/threadnoughts will actually stand a chance of getting it changed.
On the other hand it could just lead to more tards using this and CCP being incompetent in balancing their game.
At this present time I suppose they have enough bugs and issues with overview etc to deal with but also while they ARE focusing on these issues it might be the best time to force them to fix this 'working as intended' feature

Absolutely obvious they knew what was gonna happen and did it on purpose, as a single Scimitar jumped first and pulled the warp-cloak, and after that his fleet jumped in.
Anyway, this needs to get fixed asap. Not the cloak warp trick, I could care less about that, but the client crashing problem. Filed a bug report about it 2 weeks ago already but not response yet.
Also, for those that asked Griz is always mad. You should hear him on vent. He is always raging. And I mean furiously RAGING.

Would you care to elaborate how this bug works for those of us that dont normally engage in group pvp and havent come across this yet?
If I remember correctly, if its been deemed an exploit by CCP, those using the exploit will be banned. Although your mileage may vary.
If its a bug that has not yet been deemed an eploit, then getting the message out to as many people as possible on how it works would be a good thing for all of us so we can try to figure out how to protect ourselves against it. Or at least recognize it so when someone does it, we can then flag that person/group as people to not give pvp fun to.

We have one scimitar jump in, activate the mwd+cloak+warp trick of awesomesauce, and members in your gang disconnects. And our gang of figs, jumps in and escapes your gang of screaming reavers hungering for blood ?
I'm pretty sure we are not allowed to link killboards.
So please go visit our killboards (also for the funny kills and losses, good stuff for much trolling), and look at our scimitar fits. And I challenge your elders to find our cloaks.

dark-rising and dark-rising alts (read figgits), you guys knew exactly what u were doing, only reason u burned back to gate and didnt actually engage was cause ur trick didnt work.
to people wondering what the trick is, since incursion, watching someone (meaning you see them on your overview, try to target them, and you get the failed to target nothing message) do a cloak warp trick manuever will do something to the effect of divide by zero ur client. If you do not target the thing, u dont get dc'd. Thankfully enough of us are bad at targeting primaries so most of us didnt get dc'd, but still pretty uncool.
To pirate haters, eat a phalla. To "umadbro", i was mad but after watching that halftime im loling irl.
to serus eve players, it really sucks, naming and shaming is the only thing that you can do these days from stopping figs from exploiting (this only doesnt work when the alliance (read it) petitions ur bubbles away)

lol.. you are way off.. We usually burn back to the gates (only stupid people wouldn't) in the hopes that all you lot are stupid/eager enough to agress, and give us a window to jump through and get away, and while you are still agressed aka not able to use the gate for XX amount of seconds.
Since this is our second fleet engagin the incursion, it seems you know more about this bug than we do, but thanks for sharing.

Seems legit, that makes way more sense than not jumping in the first place and just warping off. Or not warping to the gate your scout tells you a giant fleet is sitting at the other side.
Yes, entirely plausible.
Seriously though, I got to give you guys credit for creative thinking. You're the first ones I've seen making practical use of that knowledge, and using a Scimitar was outright genious.
