Simple really, BMs are server side, and yet whenever a person clears his cache, or even sometimes RANDOMLY, they lose all their BM folders. This is irritating in the extreme.
Please make BM folders serverside.

Signed.
after a crash and hard reboot the other day i returned to find a list of over 400 BM's that needed sorting.
But maybe if i had backed up on a more regular basis... ___

Totally signed. It's not THAT much of an additional DB load. Quite tiny, actually. And this obviously needs to be done.

this is a wonderful IDEA you have. i wonder if a NEW FEATURE like this would ever be considered by CCP...?

Also make the adressbook folders serverside and remove the 'all buddies' folder and replace it with a folder 'unlisted'
I'ts completely impossible to manage your buddies once you get past the point where you have to scroll down to folders.

I just open each folder as a new window. Including the default one. Not that I have that many buddies

If could be possible to do the same with buddies folder as well, that would be great, i think most people add the members of a corp that your at war with to seperate buddies folders, i deleted my cache, and now have 400+ buddies in one generic folder, most of which don't like meh

Edited by: Felony Assualt on 28/01/2005 03:57:10 I think this is a great ******* idea thats about a year and a half over ******* due! Once again this ******* game CTDs and puts me out of my folders. This is happening o so often to many people, and i dont know about you but it makes me want to **** all the devs and CCP. I shouldnt have to worry about backing my files up everytime i make a new BM. I would ask nicly of CCP to fix this problem, but after the 2nd time in two weeks i am just pain ****ed off. Ill say it again, this shouldnt be a burden on the players to back up thier folders. Now i have to sit in a satation for hours redoing all my folders.

Even if the folders aren't server side, at the very least make the folder/bookmark structure exportable to XML. // Colonel O'Neill

So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

uh no, if you add a bm and get a cleared cache and then restore a backup that doesnt include the most recent bm('s), all previous folders and bms will be as intended, and the new bm('s) will be in the root folder.
