I suggest total a boycott of cap recharger 2
The sellers have made a monopoly out of this, the prices are hillarious, but as long as people buy them the price will continue to stay as high as they are.
I have yet to use a cap recharger 2, and I refuse to use one untill it gets below 2mil isk (probably never but I do not care)
if anyone else want the price of these overrated goods to drop, stop buying them at 10 mil a piece, they are not worth it. !

Actually, up until today I refused to buy them. Obtained a couple of enemy ships which I blew up, but never bought any off the market.
Outfitting my new Raven this morning, I bit the bullet and bought 2.

God no... not the whole Miner II thread again.
Why don't you guys dig up that swamp and start whining over there.
It's capitalism boys and girls, not cumminism. The world is not fair. You don't want to pay the price? Fine, then don't. Other have no problems with it and as long as people will continu to buy them for that price and there will not be enough competitors to start undercutting, it will at the current price.
Who cares you're boycotting them by the way? It's not like you were buying them anyway. It's just starting another flamewar.

They aren't many CPR II BPOs around, are there ?
So if a producer sells them at 2 Mio (which is already exagerated), some buy them and put them back on market at 14.
So... the producers don't want to make 'traders' (and that's the friendly way to call them) rich and sell at 14.
The only solution is to give producers more BPOs, or much better, to get rid of that lottery system and give BPCs as reward for research instead of BPOs.

Not really, advertise those things that your are selling them for that price ! Advertise till EVE blows from your advertisements. Advertisement is the key to all. I'm wondering if ccp could make it possible to make the "this space is for rent" space on the billboards, rentable.. Or a advertisement board of somekind.. And some people are indeed to laisy to look further then their nose.. I spend days comparing prices of modules and all other crap but on the other hand this is the assignment my corp gave me so don't think every buyer will spend days with comparing prices

Boycott all tech 2 items.
Take a look at the item database and check out how much the materials cost to make a particular tech 2 item, price the components in-game. You'll find that most of the time it costs an absolute fraction of an item's bloated market price.
100% markup I can understand, selling it for twice what it costs to produce. That's a healthy profit margin. Even 200% I can sort of deal with... barely.
500%? 1000%? That should simply not be tolerated at all.

I nevery buy cap II's of market. On general principal allready. Bring the price down to 8 mill and I might reconsidder it. This is an item that should have been a great comodity. And they **** it up whit extream prices. You can say it's a luxury item. But so it the t2 damage mods. And they cost less than 2 mill. But I guess they get them sold since the price is that high. This is an item that should have been priced around 4-8 mill in my mind. I support a total lock out of the cap 2. If that is needed to bring the price down.

It isn't going to happen because CCP are stuck on the idea if everyone gets what they want the game will be boring. I disagree with CCP because it makes the game suck (in the research and bpo field). Getting a Tech 2 BPO of a CPR is like getting the I WIN card in a game. You get so much isk from it that you never have to worry about any achievement in the game again. In a world where people steal patents outright in some countries I fail to find the relevance of CCPs solution to technology. 0.o It's not you... no wait it is you. |

I'll post this AGAIN shall I do some of you never listen??
To all those of you that would sell them a great deal less congratulations you've just lost. Why because that what was happening to us when we were selling them at 4 million someone was buying the entire stock (and yes was generally the same person(s)) from all the areas we sold in then Yulai, Nonni etc and then dumping them straight back on the market for almost double and guess what people where still buying them.
So don't give me the yes I'd sell them for lots less as soon as CCP give me the cr2 bpo - it wouldn't actually make the market go down since someone will buy all of stock that you've managed to collate the parts for, leave building in a factory, spent the time taking them to the active markets and dump back on the market at a price that people will still buy for it.
We sell to our friends a great deal cheaper than our enemies (which includes the market). So I guess you have a few options:
Pay the inflated market price (I'm not disgareeing with people its rediculous tbh but if people are paying that price - sheesh I'd like to have a stock of mem +3's atm) Use a t1 or better still a named one. Don't use one at all maybe follow Pottsey's idea's on passive tanking - which I'm doing btw. Kill someone that has them. Become friendly with a supplier Shut the hell up.
Ok the last one is a bit harsh but tbh all these threads start to drag a bit after a while especially when people have no idea what they are talking about.

indeed. my corp dont make CR IIs, but we do make other tech 2 stuff, and we had a problem that when we sold for cheap prices, people just bought them all up and sold them for higher. Our solution to that was to sell in person to everyone, not letting people buy more than a few each, and also stopping selling to them if they resold.

Obviously I can't get into an argument about this with you since you don't seem to have the comprehension levels to cope with it.
People do buy them at 14 mill even in empire let alone out in 0.0 so that completely flaws the entire basis for your argument - next comment?
As it is those that we still sell in empire we still sell below the market average. Granted not by say 50% because someone will buy them and put straight back onto the market at say 90% of the average. You probably also don't realise that they aren't exactly the speediest things to build so some can easily purchase an entire weeks stock in one go.
Or have we found an alt of those that were buying them at 4 mill and selling them back at between 8 and 12 and you're not happy at losing the ability to make cash by just sitting in the major market regions buying up all the stocks of a product and then just dumping them back on the market at a hyped price? Thats probably it.
I suggest before posting utter bilge you look at the market and click the little tab that says price history and you'll see the last months average in nearly every region is 12-14 million.
Only those on the market do we sell anywhere near those prices. We have deals etc with other corps and some individuals for like for like offers which are at a much preferable rate but the market ones go for under the market averages. Now if you use that lump of grey matter you'll understand that as we keep selling under the market average the price should naturally drop it doesn't because others sell for more.
So don't like it don't pay, don't buy one, do not pass go, do not collect 200 isk.
Or just follow the instructions I left at the bottom of the previous post.

Excellent didn't realise that in order to get things through to you it had to be personal. Good way to get a nice debate locked - congratulations.
I'm sooo glad your daddy is a trader perhaps you'll get the simple premise of supply and demand explained to you. There is not a great deal of supply, this is because there is not a great deal of bpo's and quite a few holders don't sell outside of their empire at all. They take a long time to produce any which means you end up with hardly any at all certainly in comparison to the levels that are in demand.
Putting it more simply when lots of big people all want a similar thing it may well run out. If people want it bad enough they will pay more and be more desperate for it.
Right and to stop being personal - sorry. Ask yourself this how do you sell things on an OPEN market without allowing to sell to your enemies. Stain for example has rules that mean they cannot sell certain items freely (ammo, warp stabs etc). The simple answer is you can't so therefore we follow below the market averages.
The other alternative we could of course follow other corps strategies and we don't sell them at all on the open market but what good would that do your so called innocents? Which is garbage no-one is innocent in eve :) Yes enemies can purchase cr2's at market prices but they don't get them for the prices we do for our friends we can't control who buys from the open market but we can promise they won't get them cheaper than friends.
Oh and I don't have anything to do with the cr2's within the OF I made my money from implants when they dropped reasonably :( Much as you may think I'm Bill Gates I'm not.

Thx to this post, i could pinpoint a supplier.. I made a very nice deal with the old fart corp..
Nice dudes over there and reasonable dudes..
Big thx to that corp.. So if you try to find a supplier and your not a ******** selling them through.. prices can be at a good lvl if you contact the supplier or corp personally

..
This may be, but thats not what is going on here. Its more like: great demand + very low supply = retarded prices.
Now, i dont want everyone in game to have their own crII bpo. But wouldnt it make sense that over time more people 'discover' how to build them? (Read: CCP seeds just a few, or even one, bpo first, then more later) -

Well i don't know exactly where all the bpos are, so maybe the production is slow... But i just can't see it. Everybody and there brother uses cap rechargers, thousands of players. There is at most a few dozen bpos, most likely less. So it's likely crazy demand = crazy prices, even with every bpo in production. If they introduced more it would just be a price control. And if they want to go that direction why even bother with a player market when players can't influence prices.
Now if cap rechargers were boosted to match relays, and gave a penalty to armor tanking i think they would go down in price real fast :P
