Very liberal, believe strongly in freedom, and you kinda get the feeling that everyone is a little bit bi-curious. Caldari is China. Communist government, strong belief in giving everything to your country and moving forward together, but the economy is cut throat capitalism. Amarr is the Middle East. Big gap between the few rich and the many poor. Thew few rich are also very, very powerful. Kind of old fashioned, and religion is central to their culture. We really need Space Americans TBH

It is in fact also one of the basic tenets of fascism. In communism, you'd have the state controlling all means of production and (theoretically) redistributing the products to all population according to their needs. Caldari society is the opposite - fascism: corporate control of the state is enshrined in law and culture and there is no common ownership of the means of production (quite the opposite) nor redistribution of resources. Add to this mix the extreme nationalism of the Caldari, and you have a good portrait of pre-WWII Italy or Japan.
