Not everyone can play eve 24/7, some of us only play 5/7 hours a week, which is how much the average person plays an mmo a week per account. there is no difference between logging into a 4Gb clinet than a website when it comes to changing a skill. Players want to play a game WHEN THEY WANT TO PLAY. For instance I can only play eve on fridays and saturdays. I have work, I have school I have friends and a life. As to the OP I support this along with managing market orders and having chat channels. That way when I do actually log in I can do fun stuff like SHOOT PEOPLE instead of manipulating market orders.

Last I checked SISI spacebook had all the privacy settings set to the default, completely disregarding your personal preferences. In beta CCP screwed it up so that anyone just had to browse to your character ID and see everything in your profile as though it was public. They've got the security standards of a homeless shelter, and I'd rather spacebook get abandoned as a bad idea while hiring people who know what they are doing and respect the customer to start over and make it not suck. I'm completely firmly anti-spacebook. I'd rather the features that are offered in spacebook be migrated AWAY from it and to something at least somewhat reliable. Spacebook is crap. Hope it dies. Wish they wouldn't waste any more developer resources for something that deserves to die the worst kind of death.

A web browser IS a 3rd party program. And EVE voice has been buggy and unreliable for as long as I've been playing. I prefer using TS/Vent because I know if I do that everyone will be able to hear eachother with near 100% reliability, while eve voice seems about 50/50 sometimes.

Corps are like familys we gots to stay in touch[/quote the new eve gate voice will not stop if the game crashes. but you can only join allaince channel. it's just a test. the future plan is let cell phones even use eve gate to comuncate with eve voice so if the game crashes or you're whole computers shuts down your smartphone will keep the voice chat up
