Curious, Where did all of the threads go with all of the complaints about PI?

Because it's not quite so bad now.
Except for the whole millions-of-clicks-to-route-for-the-only-thing-you-could-possibly-make-with-those-materials problem.
What I'm interested in is whether or not what I'm seeing is actually true, and everything's now underpriced. Is it true? How long till the market corrects itself? I'm definitely curious.

Everyone got tired of he fan boy attacks and the fact CCP is not going to fix it. They made this change to help the Dumb people in eve do PI. My Beef is they should have explained it was to make it easyer because their average player is to stupid to figure the old way out. Alot of the changes where good ideas. But depeletion is just stupidly high. Im sorry but When did Metal ore start moveing around? The drill or what ever scared it so it ran away?

Edited by: dr cisco on 11/02/2011 05:12:45 I don't like it (well, i like the less clicks part). I just re-activated my account and tried to replace the old extractors with the new ones, but it does not work! I cannot extract the same ammt of stuff with the same PG! i had 4 planets producing smartfab units, coolant, and oxygen and whatever extra that didn't get used. i cannot make my lava planet work anymore, and it was the key planet!

Edited by: Minamel on 11/02/2011 10:13:00 Maybe some people realized that new Pi isnt that bad after having adepted a bit..
For me, the only big remaining problem are the wrong numbers in the link system. The Numbers are deeply wrong, even if some weird def explantation say its ok like it is. These wrong numbers costs grid (caused of the bigger links)and grid is damn short with new pi. Besides of that it feels like head reallocation is bugged too. Often after you have moved the first head you cant increase the ammount even with moving heads from yellow to white spots. This just feels broken somehow..
But problems are named numerous times so no need to start another 20 threads abbout it. Income is high ennough after all its all that counts..

After 10,000 threads and not one single CCP response to any of the issues, many of us have given up and gone on to something else and the rest are too disillusioned to bother making any new threads that will also be ignored.
CCP: Vast ideas, half-vast implementation.

Hmmm... I wonder if some people are starting to realize that discussion forums are not the proper method for reporting problems.... naaaaahhhhh .... that's just a crazy thought

Yeah, pretty much just surrendered.
CCP borked it badly. After it became obvious it was a "working as intended" or at the very least "If we don't admit it's broken it's working as intended" sort of thing, people either adapted or gave up PI. I managed to get back to my production goals, but it took two weeks of training to get to the Elite CCs to do it. The extractor head placement is still utterly random, but I can usually get the numbers close enough to what I need. Depletion is still stupid, but I've got enough extractors to account for it (at least for now, we'll see if it keeps dropping).
The new system didn't get any better. People didn't suddenly realize everything they were doing wrong. They took it in the shorts and got back up when it became obvious this was the new status quo.
What else were we going to do? Keep griping to a bunch of devs whose idea of addressing concerns is a blog post explaining all the stuff we already knew while completely ignoring any of the questions? Wasted effort, and at some point even the most disgruntled player realizes that.
