ok, so i currently live in a c2 wh and i use a drake for the anoms, what im wondering is should my next step in ships be a tengu? i can get in 1 pretty quick but they cost alot or would the slower to train but cheaper nighthawk be good? ( me and my buddies are thinking of moving into a c3 and c4 eventualy)
thanks for any and all opinions =) Individualy reliable, Collectivly diciplned |

The Tengu is worth it when your loss vs isk ratio is better than in the Nighthawk. That being said, the Tengu is better at almost everything for PvE and is well worth the investment - if you don't die way too frequent. - I'd tell you why but then I'll have to kill you. And to kill you I'd have to log in. And to log in I'd have to stop browsing these forums. Both you and me knows that'll never happen. |

ok ty, and would a t2 fit be sufficient for c2-c3? and if i active tank what about the neuts in the c3s? not worried about c2 cause they havent managed to cap out my passive drake yet =3 Individualy reliable, Collectivly diciplned |

C3 Nueting capabilities are pretty weak tbh.
If your CAP is above 60% stable, it shouldnt be a problem. C4's are a little tougher, but not by much.
To be ub3r safe, you could easily do a spider tank setup, and passive tank your drake.
This of course works a lot better with Tengu's.

The Nighthawk setup I used (which I got from a friend, thank you) is cheap (t2 fit, t1 rigs) and cap stable at 52%. It performs perfectly fine in c3 solo.
I'm not dead sure where the neuting range is, keep hearing people state they try get 50%+ to make sure they're fine. The 52% works on the Nighthawk as I stated, but both the Nighthawk and the Tengu operates at some range.
