EVE Online: Incursion 1.2 will be deployed on Tuesday, February 15. Downtime for this deployment is expected to last from 10:00 UTC till 13:00 UTC.
Incursion 1.2 will bring a host of much requested optimizations including enhancements for clones and jump clones, market improvements, the return of character portrait capturing in game and much more. Details on these optimizations can be found on the main Incursion page.

Done that many times. Doesn't seem to have any effect.
did you check the "Pilot has no standing" option?

Erm. I had to manually restore defaults in both the icon tab and the background tab just to be able to see the "Pilot has no standing" option. Then yeah, check it... By the way do you realize how painful it is to press the "restore defaults" button while you think you had the perfect settings? 
yeah I know.. but with incursion 1.2 you get your perfect setting back with dragging and dropping which is kind of cool 
glad you got your issue sorted though!

If you're referring to the option in the overview settings I believed it is checked. Could someone post a screenshot to clarify. There is two places as far as I am aware. One is in the place in the overview settings that actually shows and does not show people/stuff in space. All of those are checked, and the second I believe is in the "Appearance" tab that applies Icons/Backgrounds, which are we talking about? I have a Mac client as a secondary machine. I will check to see if it's working on there, I don't think it is though. Someone should post a screenshot. I would appreciate that very much.
There's a "Pilot has no standing" option in:
filter -> states (which you use to filter what you want to see in the overview)
appearance -> colortag (which lets you set a colortag for the option)
appearance -> background (which lets you set a background color for the option)
You can change the color of the colortag and background by rightclicking on the option.
