1. Lasers are they good weapons?
2. Does Amarr Prefer armor and hull repairs over shield boosters/extenders?
3. just usuing lasers doesnt seem enough do i train to use rockets or missles as well?
4. I notice Amarr ships are pretty fast by themselves should afterburmner/MWD be trained and fitted?
Thanks in Advance
1. far from that.
2. yes.
3. anything other than lasers.
4. you must be trippin' if you think amarr ships are fast. but yes, any ship needs a propulsion module.
also, they are far from looking any good. Amarr have only 2 ships that look good - the T2 missile based frigate and cruiser. other than those two, amarr ships generally look like they're a rip-off of some ugly and deformed bird, probably a chicken. to cut a long story short, Amarr are chickens - as explained in the following video, at 3 minutes and 47 seconds in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCtrj_x1wcQ |

Thanks in Advance proud to be amarr
First yes in pure dps amarr ships are some of the best ,and armour tanking is considered more efficient than shieldtanking , but that is open for debate However amarrships really shine when you got all your relevant engineering skills mechanical skills and gunneryskills high(lvl4) or almost perfect and if you use pulselaser go for the t2versions the t1 versions are a bit meek Second there is nothing stopping you to crosstrain , crosstraining into gallente is the easiest eventually you will train into missiles and shields aswell they are not wasted skillpoints , every race has some good ships with dedicated roles , but the amarr have the best looking ones anybody saying different isa heretic and deserves to be podded besides real men tank armour and that red bar above my armour tank is just telling me that somebody is shooting at me
edit hulltanking is not done unless you really want to show off

you consider the Retribution "not that good", think the Pilgrim is a "very decent ship" (most viable setup I have seen so far was blasters+shield-tank+drone damage mods) and bemoan the lack of a "decent fleet sniper" (nobody has run battleship sniper fleets since 2008/2009, Apocalypse is the fleet sniper par excellence).
consider my mind blown. I'm a NPC corp alt, any argument I make is invalid. |

Also worth remembering that you're not limited to Amarr ships. You can train for other races' ships at any time with a simple skill-book purchase. Stealth OST puns and blatant lies since 2009 Jace Errata on Twitter

SO CUUUUTE ^_^
Newbro, when in doubt look at a ship's slot layout and the bonuses listed in the description, those will tell you what the ship is best fitted with.
Different races in Eve have different fitting and fighting philosophies
Amarr: Best armor tanks, and lasers which can usually hit at decent ranges. Have the best capacitor and they have ships that specialize in capacitor warfare. Mostly it's a pure tank and gank philosophy, their capital ships are particularly popular because they can tank so well.
Caldari: Best shield tankers, make heavy use of missiles and their missile ships are generally considered to be the best for PvE. They also make some use of hybrid turrets but really the only decent turret ships are the Naga and the Rokh. Also make heavy use of ECM jammers.
Gallente: Okay armor tanks and hybrid blasters which do the highest damage at extreme close range (which can be hard to get in to because armor makes you slow) They also use drones a lot.
Minmatar: Jack of all trades very versatile, uses mostly shield but also has some armor ships, uses turrets, drones and missiles. Requires a broader skillset than other races to use well, but very good for PvP. |

Always fit a prop mod.
All amarrian ships armor tank.
All useful amarrin ships use lasers. (Tracking disruptors and energy neutralizers are also good SP sinks) Regards,

The thing i really like is the fact that not every person has the same fit. im betting there are dozens upon dozens of possibilities. some work some obviously dont. think amarr ha the best frigate the punisher i think? |

Amaar PVE lows.
best version you use of:
2 armor reppers
1 damage control
2 hardners. Pick the 2 recommended for your mission. kinetic, thermal, explosive or em. For drones or multi-racial missions I use energised adaptive membranes
if additional lows add heatsinks or tracking enhancers. |
