Summer 2011. We're going to be in a bar. In London again.
The stage is set, Wetherspoons again. You all know where it is. You all know how to get there.
As a corporation, we consider ourselves one of the most social and outgoing corps in Eve when it comes to community interaction.
So here we are, asking you all, both players and CCP alike to join us in London again for another awesome meet at Goodmans Field, just like the last one.

Everyone is welcome. Most of us will stay at Travelodge Tower Bridge as it is within crawling distance from the pub.
Last time the hotel bar was open until 5am and it only closed because it had ran out of most alcoholic beverages at that stage.

Shift pattern permitting, I'll certainly do my best to attend. Despite my best attempts, I failed to find your Pool Night in Iceland and ended up in the wrong Sports Bar just around the corner.
I still ended up having a good night with a bunch of journalists who were there to cover Fanfest, but I regret my failure to appear. I so fancied my chances in that pool competition.

I will be travelling down with my other half (who uses a wheelchair to get around). How *easily* accesible is the area and local tube stations? (if anyone knows that is).
Would love to make it down, even if its for a few hours...
Travelling from Derby/Nottingham area just in case anyone has any good idea's (neither of us can drive to save our lives)

Thanks for the info there Verone... Provisional "yes" for it, just need to get some medical stuff sorted out now (dont worry, nothing contagious), and it looks all go for us... even if its just for a few hours, at least we managed to get out and about

Local tube stations are quite bad for wheelchair access unfortunately, but with a bit of juggling and going out of the way, you should be able to make it from King's Cross to close by: King's Cross to London Bridge on Northern, then Jubilee to Canary Wharf (Note: Zone 2!) and then DLR to Tower Gateway which is as close to the bar as you'll get. It'd probably be faster just to walk from London Bridge though, if you can manage the 1.1 mile trek.

Thankfully, it would appear that the tube strike is actually taking place over tonight/tomorrow morning, according to this so hopefully there shouldn't be any disruption from that.
Regarding the persistant pest that is the weekend Tube maintenance, here is the Tube availability for the Saturday
and the Sunday.

Nice meeting, 10 corpmates showed up and some alliance, mates, beating PL in an armwrestling contest, and having so many pitchers at the table that we needed to empty some more to get some new drinks. Awesome meet, Nicely done VETO.
