It has always been that Caldari are the most common race in EVE. At one point they had the best industry skills preset (Achura). But since the attribute barriers are gone could Minmatar become the most common?

new people selecting on first look and appearance, so idk really, as i was a newb i selected Gallente, now if i would start over i would select Minmatar, i like their style of pvp more, i'm sick of drones already :D

I started last Saturday. I picked Minmatar because I liked their story, the look of their ships, and fact that the Rifter is was the most recommended frigate (from my observations) for getting into PvP quickly.

Yes... I am leaning towards Minmatar now too. I have seen what seems like an increase of Amarr players.... Is it the ships?

im not sure if the tutorial made it clear enough for you.. but you dont have to be matari to train Minmatar skills

Sure it did. But the post is not about what I am doing, but what the future demographics of EVE will be now that there are no more pre set atrributes for the races in EVE.

QFT I think there are a lot of players who were Caldari or Gallente now changing over to Minmatar or Amarr, because players are not held back by pre set attributes.

I see more hurricanes than drakes in some regions.... and as we know, people tell their friends that they invite to EVE which races ships are good. So could Minmatar pass or match Caldari in numbers soon?

Think it's the most commun mistake noobs not knowing people already plaing the game do, choose Gallente to realise pretty fast that gallente ships/weapons systems are broken.
With almost perfect skills you swet hard to do something with so newbbies can feel it even harder.
100% of newbbies that were training gallente that I've adviced to change for minmatar/amarr ships/weapons are now happy since they have seen the difference by them selves.
It's the best advice you can ever give to noobies it's to never train Gallente and hybrids. OC if you hate the guy go ahead tell him they are the gods of EVE.
