Purpose of the Loan
The isk from the loan will be used so I may expand my trading business. I have already been very successful in the past but I am looking to get some more capital in order to fund my trading.
Loan Duration
The loan will begin if the entire loan has been secured by Monday 21/2/11, and then after a 21 day period the isk will be paid out to all the pilots who have secured a part.
Loan Amount
The loan will total 2.5 billion isk. The loan will contain 25 bonds at 100 million each. While the purchase of a single bond is perfectly fine I would prefer investors who could to finance the entire or a large portion of the loan.
Interest
The interest rate of the loan is 15% but I am willing to take other offers both above and below this figure.
Loan Funding
Once the offer for the interest rate has been accepted the isk must be sent by 20:00 Monday 21/2/11.
Loan Payment
All pilots who have secured bond will receive their interest plus appropriate interest on March 14th 20:00 Eve Time. Confirmation of the payment will take place on this thread.
Collateral
None
Current Dept
None (currently I have some 100 mill in liquid isk)

@Egola - you mean Lethal? My bond is updated monthly but got buried in a side discussion.

Liberty of the people can be lethal to dictators, so you're not completely off base.
Seeing these threads pop up more frequently does make me wonder if we could somehow get a flag for these no collateral scam-tastic requests. Or maybe organize a process to vet MD proposals.

Although used for scamming, what if there was a legit way to guarantee loans/bonds? If the banking system was a little more robust, and there was a way for the repo-man to come and repo assets of bankrupt debtors, then this could very well work.
For instance, if you had services that could value your assets, rate your credit worthiness, assert that you were good for X amount, then credit lines can be established. If you have enough of these credit rating agencies, then you could value the worth of these risky bonds. In fact maybe even build them into the contract system so that you can resell these bonds.
The economy will blossom, and then sometime in the prosperous future New Eden can also have a credit crisis on a galactic scale.

That's what some EvE auditors do.
There's still the very RL-alike issue of the examined guy going rogue despite he had a pristine record and assets or just disappearing forever.

Also, yesterday he convo'd one of my corpmates and offered to share in a market 'scam.' He wanted my corp mate to setup a buy order for some item at a really high price. This guy said he would then setup a sell order at a lower price (maybe via contract). The scammer said he was going to alert my corp mate as soon as the player to be scammed bought the item so my corp mate could cancel the buy order.
Of course the scam is that the scammer was just going to fill the buy order for the silly amount.
