 , those folks are impatient, i'd like a good read. Since i've been reading and playing i've found each issue a little different but steadily improved. I hope one day to see ship classes manufactured, destroyed. Minerals refined, consumed, etc. Would be interesting and possibly give the devs ideas to spot areas of interest and improve upon them.
The good man has a real job teaching things that matter a great deal. Lets be patient, it'll be good reading.

Want ideas for this? Well here is one.
Rather than implement a system of simply checking which ships people are flying at a given moment in time it would be better to have a more detailed statistic such as:
1) Which ship people are flying at the moment of turning in a mission
2) Ship types jumping through certain gates
I am sure there are other ways to track ship types used.
Incidentally this can be done on a sampling basis if its a server load issue to collect statistics.
Just random thoughts.

If a lot of people are like me and salvage each mission before completing it (instead of bookmarking wreck -> completing -> ??? -> salvaging), the Noctis would probably win by a landslide.
I can see the interest of knowing what ships are the most used in each aspect of gameplay, though. Good idea.

Getting a vague idea of how many people are using a Noctis to salvage before completing a mission is certainly a useful metric, by itself.

I would prefer a complete market dump from last quarter and a free copy of JMP, but since CCP STILL has not chosen to include a JMP license with EvE, I would settle for the Q4 report.
