Hey,
a lil question: can u use miner2s on merxcite? and also, how does the dmg cloud work?

You need the Deep Core Mining lasers to get Mercoxite.
Dunno about the cloud.

The cloud works as follows: It is 5km in radius and does damage to anything that contacts it. The deep core miners have a range of 5km. So you sit at 5k from the roid and take some damage. Here's the tricky part. If you can mine, be sure to set you jet can at 6km from the roid. that way you, sitting at 5km, reach it and it will not dissolve in the cloud.

the trick is to use DCM 2's.
Cost 10-20 mil each, but have the fitting req's of miner 2's.
These have a range of 10km, so your able to mine into a can outside the damage cloud.

Said this before, if your stuck with deepcore 1's.
Cloud can be avoided by about 90 meters while mining.
Dmg cloud reaches for something like 4910.

I suppose it's hoping for too much asking for a location where you can find mercoxite....
I'd even settle for a little screen shot just to see what it looks like.
How many systems would you estimate in Eve even have the ore? |

Anywhere where you will find Arknor, you'll find mexcroxite. I can think of 5-6 sectors off the top of my head where I've seen it.

Nope. There's plenty of ark in Catch/etc, but I haven't seen any mercoxite.

Must depend on region, in most systems where we are, where theres ark there is normally merc.

What is the value of mercoxit mining crystals? I have rejected an offer for a BPC because it was like 1M100isk for a 60 run BPC, was it worth it?

Yes I noticed about the BPO but would you pay like 200k for a 1 run BPC of mercoxit crystal I ? To be honest the offer was for two BPCs but the other was Pyroxeres which can be found on market.

1.1mil isk for a 60run bpc? I'd take it anytime, most people would gladly pay at least 200k per crystal, if more than 500k each then I'd start to hesitate. No way I'm buying crystals at 2mil each people are selling them at now.

Period basis and Geminate both have merco... only ones that i know of first hand, but theres others.

I just got all the crystal bpo's.(apart from mecxorit)
All of them take between 300-400 noxcium to make.
If mecxorit crystals are the same, then a bpc for them would be worth collecting (400 x 470/noxc = 188k to make)
