Eggysrun Amarr Ministry of War	Posted - 2011.02.22 03:15:00 - [1] I jumped into a gate camp, got scrammed but made it back through the gate. No one is around the safe side of this gate and yet I still get "'External factors are preventing your warp drive from responding to this command" I can't warp anywhere now and there's no hostiles in the system.

I had a similar issue when I lost my ship. I spammed the warp button, I got a docking and warp message, Warp Drive was active but then I got locked down and podded right after "External factors are preventing your warp drive from responding to this command". I petitioned because this kind of issue is new to me.

Atuesuel	Posted - 2011.02.23 14:33:00 - [4] I All so have had this problem, 3 times now got told by a gm that someone was warp scraming me it must be them new cloaking rigs you can get so you cant see anyone around you, btw lost my pod with slaves because of this. NOT HAPPY JAN
corwin1	Posted - 2011.02.24 08:13:00 - [5] had a similar thing happen a few months back when I was warping out of a mission, had already started warping but the warp bar just went back and forth without me actually warping, and yet my connection was fine because I was able to watch myself get podded! oh and I didn't get refunded after my petition.

NOT HAPPY JAN Did you escalate to a Senior GM? IMO just a Senior GM is able to help in such a case. I lost a ship some time ago to rats because it did not e-warp after logging. A Senior GM FOUND SOMETHING IN THE LOGS!!!

This message means being warp scrambled. There is not necessarily the message like character A has started trying to warp you" so its them dam underpants gnomes up to there old tricks

These kind of session changes are considered normal game mechanics and they would have prevented you from warping. so i dont know what to say about that but i still think hes not right characters left.

Nothing on grid with me, ship was just randomely moving in a direction...I could move my ship, activate mwd etc etc, so it wasent a desync. I was pointed off a target that never existed. What gives?

In my case I was fighting at a gate, I spammed the warp button as usual when going into structure, client reported: WARP DRIVE ACTIVE but then I got stucked by this message, locked down a second later and got podded.
