Only way to get rid of it leaves scarring, so he'll have a stupid scar outline instead.
Might as well get it finished and maybe touched up a bit to be less wavy.
Next time go for a symbol, not some big elaborate model or something. If anything get a big ole Guristas skull across your back

If I were to get an EVE tattoo it would probably be the Minmatar emblem, but that's just me. Nothing too big or too obvious, and Minmatar only because of their past in the game and what they represent.
OP, still nice tattoo if that's what you wanted and you're happy with it - gogo! :) Post a better pic as well once it's finished.
And people, most of the big tattoos are NOT finished in one day. + you can always repair almost ANY tattoo if you are unhappy with it. By repair I don't mean remove, but enhance visually :)

I quite like it. I've seen tattoos that are a lot worse - it's easily recognisable as a Ferox, and if there's more work to be done as you say, then it should add a lot more definition. Don't go overboard with it though, there's a lot to be said for black and grey tattoos.

I would get a higher quality picture to post up tbh. That one makes the coloring and lining look blotchy which makes a huge difference on the quality of a tattoo.
On topic.. I have 10 tattoos. I have two random ones. That is the most random tattoo I have ever seen. Why did you get a Ferox based hull though?

While the OP is pretty bad, that dragon tattoo is even worse. How the hell do these artists manage to make a living?! Take it from someone who hangs around tattoo shops (good ones) too much: find better artists. Both of you. Ones who have finished a decent apprenticeship and have a better portfolio.
I think I'm going to print that dragon and bring it to my tattoo artist for a LOL. I'd bring the Ferox but would just confuse him.

Good tattoo artists always have too start out somewhere, which means a whole slew of bad tattoos, thankfully there is no shortage of stupid people wanting to get really bad tattoos out there for them to practice on.
As for the OP, getting an eve tattoo isn't in and of itself a bad thing, I'm thinking about getting one myself. but that one I have too question, why a ship? why that one in particular?

I meant that it is just a picture. Some people like dragons, others something else.
If you make a tattoo you should first think of it's meaning not the quality :) I guess the guy has a dream of being a pilot of some cool ship. So why should I say to him that his tattoo sucks? Maybe it doesn't look impressive to me but it doesn't give me the right to offend him. |
