Hello Eve players! here my idea, long story short. If "AOE" comes back we will need some loving and repimping.
Here is the current list of "AOE" +EW and -DPS *Types*.
Heres the goal AOE of "EW" can only effect the ship once on the field for so many mins 30 mins to 60 mins! EW - LISTED! Drain - Goal is to remove all the ships cap on the field!

right, and that wouldn't be abused at all to all of a sudden make everyone instantly at hull. Galente ftw.
To anwser your question this would also be like a "EW" effect cool down timer, will only effect your ship once. As your shield come back over time and your amor dose not if your amor tanked so, timers would have to be worked out.
somone eve mail me on this topic should this modular work on super capitals? or capitals at all maybe or maybe not. |

Good feedback, love the biomess part anyways, to answer your question on one shot type for damage. Please read more as, anytype of damage which is DPS or ew or EWAR. Ideas will be here for who ever to read. Need more why it would be bad ideas then it's dumb. please thanks for your time for reading.  |

if ur trying to reinvent the wheel, heres a tip... dont suggest a wheel.
The AOE are one of many, and not just Doomsday effects here which we are talking about. Smart bombs, remote ecm effect, bombs them selfs all do area of effects. I have watch videos were alliances would drop large mount of bombs on targets during big fights all the time. Server seem to be running just fine during and after the effects of 50 more drop bombs.
So I do think even the modulars which we are talking about dont have to effect the whole grid but small area of effect 50 kms to 100kms. Many work arounds, I do agree the old AOE doomsdays wont be back for long time, but newer types will. |

The goal is how ever we can use them with out needing to feel over powered by one ship or mess use of this type of modular, but a on time use with timer to recharge maybe with fuel cost. Again you can mess effect a area with bombs and do the same effects.
But again, this is a idea and it can still be set up how ever we can find this useful. "One time effects with timers" |
