every spaceship ever builded and in the movies have nav thrusters.allows space crafts and star ships to move up/down /left/ right or diagonally in any direction.how do those ships in EVE do it without these thrusters.why are they not a part of ship movements and operations in the game.also explain how can the spaceships of EVE warp thru planets/moons /stations and other solid objects.known law of physical science that no two objects can occupy the same space at the same time.

We move AROUND planets and stars, it happens so fast that we see ourselves going through them.
also, thrusters can be angled downwards/upwards, and some ships do have nav thrusters if you care to look for them.
theres also differing levels of propulsion at various points on the ship to assist with that, as far as i can tell/know/see.
that is at least my take on it. --

The nav thrusters emit radiation of a wavelength too low/high/whatever to be picked up by the camera drones orbiting your ship.
Warp drive causes you to shift out of phase with reality, allowing you to move through planets/stations/moons.

Warp theory will be added in soon.

lol...
no :P
First of all... something in reality(well a theory at least :P ) thats even "remotely" close to FTL propulsion in eve is this
And to add... You cant go "around" planets at that speed... Well .. actually you CANT go at 3.0 a.u/s without some sort of science fiction version of "deus ex machina" (which is often in SF based on some real world theories, its "science" fiction after all )... That "deus ex machina" in eve is the "warp drive"...
So it basicly if you can go faster than light...you go through stuff... why ? Because if you are traveling faster than light...you cant occupy the same "space" (as in 3 dimensional space) as the planets and that "light" you are traveling faster than.... In "normal" "space" you just cant go faster than light..not in real world not in probably any science fiction universe unless you "strech" the laws of physics a bit (sf story writers are usually on par with real word with this "speed limit" in their works, hence : warp drive in eve/star trek..etc.. or some other FTL propulsion that doesnt "use "normal" "space").
P.S: Just for comparison ... 1 A.U is the distance from Sun to Earth. And light from Sun to reach Earth needs about 7 or 8 minutes (not sure exaclly atm, will check...) And average ship warps at 3.0 A.U/s as far as i know...
Thats breaking the lights speed limit by much... in real world the Universe him/her-self would stop you and wrote you a ticket if you do that :P

The warp effect in eve is described as bending space around you, essentially moving space around you, instead of moving the ship itself. So our ship isn't moving faster than the speed of light.

In one episode of "Stargate" they used warp drive to fly through the Earth. They just said warp drive shifts you out of normal space, so objects in normal space are irrelevant. Something like that is sort of needed, at warp speeds even a single hydrogen atom would be deadly.
I thought our ships were not rocket powered, but had some sort of gravity drive. The engine exhaust we see is just discharge from the engines that provide power to the gravity drive. They no more move the ship than the exhaust from a car moves the car. Thats also why our ships have a top speed. The gravity drive is limited to a top speed relative to the nearest large mass; planet, moon, or sun.
