Edited by: Eddie Mac on 03/02/2005 11:54:02 These are required in an agent offer;
one unit of R.A.M.- Battleship Tech one unit of Caldari AZ-1 Nexus Chip
I've posted on WTB forumn, asked in local, mission/trade channels. I've even petitioned.... (was told they are currently ingame). Has anyone heard/seen of either of these? Searching for something that might not exist.... fun? Eh, no.

A couple of people have sent ingame mails asking what the offer was for. It's basically the 2nd CN Raven offer. For 500,000 LPs you get a 1-run BPC, for 600,000 LPs you get a built ship. Here's the full offer;
'Excellent Craftsmanship' Offered Items: These items are being offered to you by your agent: one unit of Raven Navy Issue Cost: The agent is requesting the following as payment for the item: one unit of Raven sixty units of Morphite one thousand units of Slaves one unit of R.A.M.- Battleship Tech one unit of Caldari AZ-1 Nexus Chip 600000 Loyalty Points
I see that, since the 1st Feb patch, the nexus chip is now quoted on the market (NPC buy orders). No sign of a R.A.M. battleship tech (which I assume is for building a tech2 battleship. Not expecting them 'ingame' for a long time).
So for us players dreaming of a CN raven it looks like the choice is; 1. Get raped over the price of Officer tags for the 500k offer. 2. Hunt for something that either doesn't exist, or is insanely rare for the 600k offer. 3. Hope that there is another offer after 600k, that is easier/possible to accept.

Afaik this is the "easy" offer.
I know the chip exists, one of my friends got offered the Gallente version methinks. Never seen the Bs-Ram though. ---------------------------

This offer was modified in the last patch so the agent no longer asks for R.A.M.- Battleship Tech, as it was too rare. If you recieved the offer prior to the patch, it probably still asks for the Battleship Tech.
The Nexus chips are available through offers from High-Tech divisions.

Zrakor, the problem with the nexus chips or other items that are available through offers and then again needed for the higher lp offers IS that they are rather rare. This because few people will take such offers because they are aiming for one of the more interesting offers like faction mods, implants or faction ships. No1 is interested in some obscure trade good(1000 units of ammarian wheat for example)....which will probably make them very expensive to obtain.
I suggest putting them in the mission bonus 'tables' so they won't be the ultra rare items.

I have my second account (hauler/builder/miner) doing missions so that I can accumulate the necessary tags and high tech goods.

I have the AZ-1 Nexus chip (I think, 80% sure).
Send me an eve-mail if interested, I don't think I'll ever gather enough LPs to get the offer, so I might sell it.
Make a resonable offer though, I'm not greedy, but won't simply give it away

Not everyone has second or even third accounts and can play 20 hours a day. Contrary to common belief some people have personal lives, work, eat and sleep and therefore can only play a couple of hours/day.

Now that was, like this, a totally USELESS post.

What do you mean by High-Tech Divisions? I assume one would be R&D, what would be another?

I think you'll find that most games have built-in bonuses for the hardcore players. Don't see why eve should'nt have th same.

another silly attempt by ccp at suspense >>:0 !!! Would have made more sense to make the BS offers "rare" with items aquireable instead of rubbing peoples noses in the fact that there is something out there that you will never get unless you are running 0.0 complexes... at least the peoples offering to 'sell' the required items boast thats where they have been getting them. I am not at the 500K LP mark but missions have been in a repeating cycle for a while now and NO SIGN of any tag dropping NPC's with regard to the BS offer. Ice logic prevails once again. If you can catch me you can have me. |

I put a buy order on the markrt for the AZ-1 Nexus chip. It was filled a few days ago. So, (for the guys interested).... I convo'ed the seller to see where he got it, he said;
"That chip was an 8000 LP offer from Ishena Pierigas, level 3 Surveillance Agent, Home Guard, quality 15.
I also received a CU-1 chiip from a separate Home Guard level 3 Surveillance Agent, as a 1000-2000 LP offer."

Welcome to an economy. As demand for these tags increases, price will increase, and it will become profitable for people to do missions specifically for these tags.
