Are you being serious??.
Many people have real lives, jobs, girlfriends, wives.
To say you cant understand why ppl are still in cruisers, is maybe a bit stupid. I am thinking maybe you have alot of time on your hands, and play, or have played this game a hell of alot.
Or maybe we all dont take this game as serious:).
Correct!:) Im gonna contact u in-game darth

Ahh the romance that we have with m0o (and sinister). People sit back in thier high sec. systems and say "that m0o corp has gotta go"... and then quietly amongst the dark recesses of thier minds think "ya know I'm extremely jealous of thier ships, guns and money - I'd like to get a little of that"

Well I have the money for BSs but I've been trying not to buy one as I think it'll make the game (for me) even more boring. Looks like with the upcoming nerf...umm I mean patch of course...that I will have no choice. It's going to be a choice of either joining a corp who play at the same time as me or buying a BS. I reckon the BS wins as I don't like being "organised" by someone that I don't know
On a personal note I for one will be very sad to see the final demise of m0o when they merge into Sinister. The original m0o were the content of the game for a couple of months and CCP should be damn grateful to them. I would have packed the game in a couple of months ago had it not been for m0o blockades popping up all over the place. I know I'm not the only one that feels that m0o was the only content in the game during June/July - well done guys.
NB - don't bring any moral crap into this OK? It's a game and they played the bad guys. I doubt this game will ever see another corp to rival their reputation as the bad guys.

Stavros admitted that TTI managed to steal that title

Haha -- It's nice. Being a college student myself, I have to say that this point in life provides the perfect amount of time for spontaneous gaming. Got an hour and 50 minutes between those afternoon classes? Homework, then Eve! (:

In every MMORPG there is a clan/guild/team/corp or whatever that comprises a group of powergamers who most likely started the game from the earliest possible time.
There will always be close runners up but always there will be the one that leads the pack and everyone either looks up to or hates/envies.
The difference in this case is that in EVE it happens to be a group of players who are playing the roles of the evil, rather than the good.
So, they're most likely going to be hated, rather than looked up to.
I think it adds interest to this game - Without it you'd just have an improved Frontier clone that you can play online. Vastly better than Frontier, of course, but still - You verus the PC can get dull.
So far as I've seen (and my only death so far has been at the hands of a Moo player) the PVP in this game is well handled.
I think I owe said Moo member a lot. All I lost was 3 hours worth of skills and an hour of play to buy my ship again with the insurance payout and in return for that I learned a lot:
1) Use the map properly when traveling through unsafe space (podkills, ships destroyed in last 24 hours, etc)
2) Always check local when in unsafe space.
3) Always have a location ready to warp to whenever approaching a gate in unsafe space (if you're unsure).
4) Never take the time to right click a yellow threat. Just get away (until you're in a ship powerful enough and equiped well enough to take some flak and escape if it gets too hot).
5) Remember names of infamous players here and in the game.
Man, if it wasn't for Moo none of the above would be needed and all we'd do is click auto-pilot and go watch TV, or something.
Thanks, guys |

We love you too, Ydis.
See... in all reality, we at M0o were hired by the larger BS/Cruiser manufacturers to keep demand up. For every report of a blown ship that we sent them, we would get a small payment. Small payments add up over time, ya know? (;
We aren't trying to **** people off, but rather to help out the legit players. A variety of Robin Hood's, we are.
