I think, purely in the spirit of scientific interest, that she ought to allow you to witness some of the other gay things she does in order to determine if she's right.
...and remember, pics or it didn't happen.

What game would it be and why?
I'm pretty sure I want to live inside Robot Unicorn Attack, but I'm open to other suggestions.
"Aaaaalways I want to bee with you..."
Lotsa pink, unicorns, rainbows... OMG, my daughter is gonna LOVE that game... oh wait, it's from adult swim? I'll have to screen it first. |

Edited by: Simeon Tor on 02/03/2011 04:56:59 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because I love hunting bloodsuckers in the village with a TOZ and that would be the best existence ever.
Oh, or Arcanum. That would be so much fun, nice open world to play.. uhh live in, lots of pickpocketing to be done, interesting people and if you get bored of the surfs, you can go talk to Dwight Schultz!
I don't think I could live my life in a side scroller, I'd probably go mad.. more-so.

The only other game I have any serious interest in living in, would be the tabletop RPG that I participated in the last 15 or so years...
Nice. But it would get tedious to solve puzzles every time you want a beer from the fridge or when you need to use the bathroom.
You're not thinking outside the box - or the Age, for that matter. I sided with the Age Builders (as well as the Maintainers) back in the day, so I've seen what can be done. Example 'Link'.
Though personally, I'd probably make my own Age to be self-sufficient in, and jump in behind it (that was the reason behind the two main Prison ages, as seen in in the Revelation game).

Edited by: Yurij Sobeit on 04/03/2011 15:04:47 I'd Live in the Deus Ex universe. I don't know much about it, I was not especially a fan of the first episode but... With nano technologies, genetic engineering and stuff I could have a screen within my eyes and a brain controlled PC. So I would be able to play Eve while pretending to work.
I wonder why so much people want to be in Mass Effect. I mean I love these games, but the setting is not all that original, it's the narration that makes it so great... If it's all about Miranda, she is modeled after a real life actress (Yvonne Strahovski) so technically we all live in the same world as her already ! Better, there is only one system / one planet to search for her.

- Myst would be boring, and I would quickly starve. Did you see anywhere to grow food? - Star Wars? I'm already looking as vast tracts of black vacuum in this game. - Splinter Cell would be nice, but that's...reality. - FarCry was okay, but the Trijans get uppity and stalk you. - Neverwinter Nights 1/2 would be great for my social life, but dealing with a rogue's knife in your back or the neighbor casting Crumble on your security golem would be such an annoyance. - Mass Effect? Get ganked by Batarians if I leave Concord, err, Citadel space. - Prey? See Myst. Not eating my relatives. - MechWarrior? Truly, clan warfare is the apex of civilization. Who cares about peace? - Any game in the Unreal franchise. See above. - Battlefield. See above and Splinter Cell. Collapsing the house of the punk kid next door would be fun, though.
Nope, none of those are for me. Strange as it may sound, I'd like to live inside Half-Life 2 for the following reasons: - nice scenery (for the time it was made) - guns, and the encouragement to use them - chicks with guns - chicks that want to procreate but can't get their libido up - guns that pick up people and fling them over a cliff - guns that pick up the girl who wants to break up with me because I'm off saving the world and too busy to be with her and fling her into the headcrab pit
Can't swim in the ocean, but I'd be able to clear a few acres of alien infestation each day. Something for future generations to enjoy.

Baldur's Gate/Forgotten Realms.
I'd love a scifi setting that is just as deep and huge, but there's none like it at the moment... EVE is also too dystopian, Mass Effect is too shallow (for now). Baldur's Gate i love, maybe because of nostalgia, but still...

You can pretty much do whatever you want get busted by cops, get killed, go to hospital and you're fine. Like groundhog day but with style.
Attention to detail is great, you can drive any vehicle without having to BUY it with ISK and best of all you can follow the storyline or just explore and try all kinds of stunts. It's a true sandbox game IMHO.

Edited by: Actionbastrd on 14/03/2011 02:23:08 Not really a video game (the video games that were made sucked), But the DUNE Universe is where I'd choose if I could. Frank Herbert, and even his son, Were/Are both incredible writers.
