I saw that the head Goon himself is running for CSM. The top guy of all the Goon scams who laughs at people who fall for it. That guy actually thinks he is going to get a CSM position. For more info check out this thread. That is the crime, this is the punishment:

I will let all of Eve know and remind them that all goons are scammers and are proud of it. And a few other Goons are trying to run for CSM as well. Do we really want Goons in the CSM? What can they do to approve the game? Make more ways to scam people? To help other scammers?
It's time we stood up and said no to Goons in politics. No to Goons in CSM, No to scammers in Eve.

I'm surprised nobody is running on the Ultimate Carebear ticket - anyone who had a manifesto promising to try and weaken warp scramblers and outlaw gate camps would automatically get votes from the 40% of players or so who feel these legit uses of the game mechanics are "unfair" rather than just a pain in the ass. Quickest way to get on the CSM is to appeal to the angriest sector of voters.

Yes that's the one... you and I know that its just the way the game is and part of the way it's played - but don't underestimate the amount of emo-rage to be harnessed that gate camps and ganking can generate.

That is the most original thing I have ever read.
Seriously though, if people are dense enough to elect anybody from poonswarm, they get what they deserve.

For those NOT in on the deal, there is a very large contingent already agreed to vote for Mittens just so as to go ahead and ruin him and the game.
Perhaps that way we can get a fresh start.

That's it, really. People tend to get the leadership/representation they deserve. If one does nothing to stop a given person (only a small % of EVE players even vote in the CSM elections) from obtaining a position like CSM representative, then they really only have themsleves to blame.
