Edited by: RUS Comannder on 15/03/2011 06:17:03 Edited by: RUS Comannder on 15/03/2011 06:15:33 I remember the item database once having the minerals available after perfect reprocessing at one time, but now I have to obtain the item and get a reprocessing quote of a single item to know what it will yield and price it out.
Would be very helpful for me to have a excel sheet which could receive the mineral list and compare them to a manual input static price list kept on the excel sheet along the way to produce a line of data for each module showing a column for each mineral showing the number of minerals reproduced and a final column showing the total value of the minerals.
The item database reprocessed values disappeared during a recent break from Eve, but when I left I had a nice excel WS which required my input of the number and type which I copied straight from the item database and that produced a total reprocessed value of any item I selected out of the Item data.
I would appreciate any help or advice anyone would be kind enough to provide. I will also be open to negotiating an ISK price for such a tool. Thank you.

not really. should be a straight lookup in invTypeMaterials to get just the reprocessing output.
more hints on how to use the split materials data may be found in the dom100 thread.

Edited by: RUS Comannder on 15/03/2011 17:46:05 WOW! I am so impressed with quality of human interaction displayed in the posts found on the four pages of the forum link you provided! While I wandered thru it I was never once targetted, scanned, asked for a ransom to survive, or saw any "your Momma..." entries! So different from my usual Eve experiences.
I am convinced the real battlefield in Eve is the market. The laser tag part is just to create demand.
I went thru every post and labored my eyes thru the code I often found, but it all made so little sense to me as I have avoided building the necesssary skill sets to understand it. My new phone is two years old and I still take the occasional picture of my ear as I attempt to answer it! I'm 64 and technology has just gone faster than I can run since I built my first computer in 1983.
I have no idea how to use the file, or even how to open it! All I really need is a way to download and to later update as necessary a file which will find it's way into an excel WS in the following columns with the ability to be able to sort the rows by any of the entries and from there I will be able to manipulate it as needed. If you could help me with that, I will be glad to pay you in ISKs.

I see by the chat posts that you are already many people's Hero, so it might not mean much to be one more person's hero - but you certainly would be mine to help me out. Thanks!!

I do believe he means the Item Database in the wiki, not the database dumps.

My father has been the same
I miss him
I made you this file. You will have to eventually remove some items and update the prices of the minerals. If you need anything else, drop me a line.

I don't know if EVETycoon is still being developed but it was a tool for reprocessing calculations. I would assume there are other apps like it, too. --

You could do worse than try out the Eve Industrial Organiser linked below, you will need Excel 2007 though (sorry about that)
It will tell you the mineral cost of items when you update the prices on the inventory workbook.
Check out the Raw sheet on the building workbook and check out the totals there.
Good luck.
