Just wait, they will likely come out with a tool like Sisi or update Sisi to manage either of the test servers, it would be the more logical step.

I don't understand why we can't just use symbolic links instead of having to copy all assets.
Cant we just come up with a way to POINT to assets from tranquility but use a separate folder for preferences ?

Incidentally how do we keep the client upto date, I notice mine is out of date but I seem to have no option to update, due to I assume the closed nature of the server?

What is the frequency of Account Mirror Updates for Duality...
I've recently come back to EVE, mainly for Incarna and all that and my trial account (which I have recently converted to a full) was created on the 11th. Elsewhere, it was intimated that the current Duality mirror was created on the 10th (DOH!!!) that's really anoying.. :(
I would really like to stretch my legs in station so I was wondering when the Mirror is likely to be updated again?

no... you just need an account active at the time of the last accounts DB mirror (seems to have been on or before the 10th of April ( I missed it by a day)
as to when the next mirror drops I don't know

Hey CCP Oneiromancer,
I'm borrowing this thread a little if it'a alright (instead of creating a new one).
I lost my password and i need to retrieve it by chatting with one of the GM on IRC. But the channel you guys are in is only for registered users. Why is that? I don't really use IRC and do i really need to pay 20$ just to get a hold of my password?

I can't get the Duality test server to work. It just says incompatible (release) :S. Am I doing something wrong or is the server down??

The new captians quarters look very nice so far! Here are a few things I would change and/or add to them.
- Sense of scale to the ship hangar. This may invlove changing the ship veiw to allow us to walk much closer to the ships than before. Even , to me, is about how massive and vast the space and universe is, show that in the station as well.
- Every time the main screen video ends the entire client freezes for about 10 sec and then resumes normal play. I noticed it is coinciding with the main screen of the capt's quarters.
- I understand the need for a dark feel, but it would awesome to have a light switch.
- Make another screen for the Corp/alliance calander which lists upcoming events. (yes we use it!)
- Gag interactable items, Last on the list of things to do i know.

I have not been able to see the CQ... as i'm docked when i log in. There's some attempt by the client to show a screen or two, but the client crashes after a second or two...

Basically, I just want to know which forum to check to find out the schedule for the Ducie server. I went to their file downloader for it... and all it did was reinstall another Sisi. Is there a time frame when you can download Ducie too? Or perhaps I'm all jacked up and missed something obvious.... |

i think before you try to open the duality maybe you should fix the client downlaods for both and maybee do somthinmg about the download speed once you fix the client downlaods as for both singularity you get incompatable version see thread broken sisi

For 2 of my accounts it says incorrect username/password and they are correct, needs a slight fix somewhere.

Tearing my hair out, been trying all weekend to log in and have a look at the CQ to no avail. I think I've followed the instructions to the letter, but it keeps telling me the following on the login screen:
Username: ******* Server: Test Server (duality)
Password: ******* Status: Incompatible (release)
I'm on Version: 6.44.259851 which I believe is the correct one.
I have tried patching manually many times but as I'm on the newest it won't patch, I have also downloaded the entire build twice and tried fresh. It doestn't seem that i'm doing anything wrong the shortcut has been edited correctly:
"C:\Users\********\Desktop\Eve Test\eve.exe" /server:duality
If anyone could point out the probably obvious thing I'm missing I'll be really grateful :)

Would also like to get Anarista on the server as well.

This being the case can you please tell us when the thing is available somehow, atm I get incompatable (protocol) which I assume means its unavailable but its a guess.
At least a list of the possible status(es) and what they mean would be helpful so people dont assume a bad install and go through all the pain yet again or worse, give up.

Not sure if i missed a proper reply thread:
Amarr tutorials:
Destroying the fuel tank (mission objective) incurs a standing penalty of 2.4% that shouldn't be the case.
(I think that was from the Aura tutotials only noticed that because i created a new toon for the test)
Combat:
Afternurner module given and advised to used but no skill book.
Industry:
The player does not get an industrial skill before the first production mission - seems odd since the tutorials seem to hand out skill books before theay are needed.
I was unable to start production - i am presuming that it is disabled on duality - if not i try again and submit an error report.

I kind of need a reactivation, but, I lose my password during the mirror, I have a new password since then, I can login to TQ, but not *DUALITY* server. Any way you can mirror my password from TQ to duality server? I cannot login to DUALITY due to login username/password failure. :((

Hi to all .....i just managed to fix my sisi access, and from what i have read test server has been mirrored ( or not? ) if it has, i am missing 5 mil SP, can anyone confirm that mirroring has taken place or not please.
