Originally by: Jowen Datloran It is my experience that the traditional progress dynamic between experience points and gold had been reversed in EVE with Skill Points and ISK. That is, it is ISK that is the dominant factor for your progress, not the Skill Points.
So in a way, you can progress on more character than one at a time in EVE. In fact all your characters on all accounts advance the moment just one of them make ISK (unless your characters refuse to loan ISK to each other...)
That's true up to a point. If for instance you have 1-2 billion isk but never buy anything more than a T1 cruiser then you are, for all intents and purposes, set for life. Your isk progressions is only as important as how much you ever intend to use.

Not in my experience.
After a few months I had many billions and bought a load of lovely ships, half of which I still can't fly ("I'm waiting, I'm waiting").
SP progression is the bottleneck in this game, and not just for me. The people I hear complaining about lack of ISK are usually the people less than a month in the game. The rest are just waiting for skills to finish and it's not unusual that people play other games while they wait, which also is quite a unique "game feature".

I finished waiting 2 years ago, and now have more isk than I will ever actually use. My bottleneck is finding an activity that'll force me to spend money so I can get back to making money again.

all of my alts has uses wether it be cyno alts, planetery alts, research alts (usually a combination) and I suppose trade alts. minor tasks that are quite valuble to have spreadabout but I also have main alt accounts too for when I want to really train the other characters its alot easier now since they got rid of leanring skills to efficitly train your alt slots I also know of a few people with maisn who they won;t take about 92 mil skillpoints or so for cloen cosst reasosn and they now activily training there alt slots instead.

Sorry OP, you have no business being here if you can't stop and think outside the box for even a second.
My, aren't we a cheeky little bastard? If you would have actually read instead of spouting off your ignorant and blatantly stupid mouth, you would see that I accepted it for what it was by saying, "CCP's game is CCP's game."
Plus, this thread was supposed to die a while ago, but oh well.
So next time, read before you post, rather than jumping to conclusions and calling me something. Oh, and new breed? Nah, I've been around for a few years. Not as active as some, but still.

No dude just no.
Stop trying to justify your idiotic opinion.
You are doing it WRONG.
