Completely agree. When I wake up in the middle of the night(really day since I work during the night) the thing that helps me go back to sleep is trolling eve-o forums.
So relaxing.

I love nightmares! Nightmares are much better than e.g. horror movies. The fear you feal is real and the plot is normally also better than in a movie!
Nightmares are awesome!

I suggest you stay away from the booze and pizza the next time. Can't be good for you. Peace through supreme firepower |

Whilst that is normally the case, intense nightmares can leave one unsettled and hearing/seeing after images.
Those are nasty and is usually due to a stressful situation. Alcohol and dodgy food may also cause these too, a combination of the three is rarely a good idea though.
Makes you wonder where the idea for Eve came from doesn't it.

I had a nightmare last night too. I dreamt that I walked out my front door, looked up in the sky, and an alien invasion had started. Next thing I knew it was kind of like Battle Los Angeles style ground fighting except the aliens were all short and wearing hoods (think slightly taller Yodas, but the greys!) and moving around super fast and they were exterminating humans by cutting their heads off with daggers (I guess I know what religion they were ).

It's not really about being scared. Once you get that adrenaline going it's hard to just roll over and go back to sleep.
If you never have dreams that do that to you, you've probably lived a pampered life.

Or I know the diffrences between reality and a dream (not hard to do). Or I have been to war a couple of times and really can't be bothered by bad dreams...they fade compared to real combat. Or it's infact a combo of both.
Adult people getting scared of dreams are hillarious...but quite sad a the same time.
